2月の景気動向一致指数、米国の2024年1～3月期の実質GDP、米国の3月の住宅販売保留指数＿The coincident index for business conditions in Japan in February 2024, the real GDP in U.S. in January-March quarter of 2024, the pending home sales index in U.S. in March 2024

4月25日に発表された2月の景気動向一致指数の改定値は111.6.1ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、4月5日発表の速報値より0.7ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2024年1～3月期の実質GDP速報値は前期比年率1.6％増加しました。

また、米国の3月の住宅販売保留指数は前月比3.4％上昇しましたが、前年同月比では0.1％の微上昇となりました。

The revised figure of the coincident index for business conditions in Japan in February 2024, which was announced on April 25th 2024, was 111.6.1 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.7 points from the preliminary figures which was announced on April 5th.

Announced on the same day, the advance estimate of the real GDP in U.S. in January-March quarter of 2024 increased by at an annual rate of 1.6 percent from the previous quarter.

And the pending home sales index in U.S. in March 2024 rose by 3.4 percent from the previous month, but rose by 0.1 percent from the same month a year earlier slightly.

3月の企業向けサービス価格指数、ドイツの4月のIFO企業景況感指数、米国の3月の耐久財受注＿The services producer price index for Japan in March 2024, the ifo business climate index for Germany in April 2024, the durable goods orders in U.S. in March 2024

4月24日に発表された3月の企業向けサービス価格指数の速報値は111.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.8％上昇しました。 この月間上昇率は2022年3月の0.85％上昇以来の高水準となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの4月のIFO企業景況感指数は89.4ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.5ポイント上昇しました。2023年5月の91.4ポイント以来の高水準となりました。

また、米国の3月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注は季節調整済で738億ドルとなり、前月比0.2％増加しました。2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

The preliminary estimate of the services producer price index for Japan in March 2024, which was announced on April 24th 2024, was 111.1 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.8 percent from the previous month. This monthly growth rate was the highest level since 0.85 percent rose of March 2022. 

Announced on the same day, the ifo business climate index for Germany in April 2024 was 89.4 points (2015=100), a rose by 1.5 points from the previous month. It was the highest level since 91.4 points of May 2023. 

And, the new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in U.S. in March 2024 was at a seasonally adjusted of US$73.8 billion, a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months.

米国の3月の新築住宅販売件数_The new houses sales in U.S. in March 2024

4月23日に発表された米国の3月の新築住宅販売件数は季節調整済み年率69万3千戸で、前月比8.9％増加しました。前月の5.0％下落から反転上昇しました。69万3千戸の内訳をみると、建設中が28万6千戸、竣工が32万4千戸で、竣工が建設中を上回りました。また、同期間中の販売価格の中央値は43万700米ドルで、前月の40万6500米ドルから上昇しました。

米国の3月の新築住宅販売市場は堅調ではあるものの、過熱しているわけではない可能性があると思います。

The new houses sales in U.S. in March 2024, which was announced on April 23rd 2024, were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 693,000 units, a rose by 8.9 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 5.0 percent fall of the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of 693,000 units, the under construction was 286,000 units and the completed was 324,000 units, and the completed was more than the under construction. And the median sales price in same during period was US$430,700, a rose from US$406,500 of the previous month.

I think  there is a possibility that the market of new house sales in U.S. in March 2024 is solid but not overheating.

ユーロ圏の4月の消費者信頼感指数_The consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in April 2024

4月22日に発表されたユーロ圏の4月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス14.7ポイント（長期平均：2024年3月時点でマイナス10.6ポイント）となり、前月比0.2ポイント上昇しました。

The preliminary estimate of the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in April 2024, which was announced on April 22nd 2024, recorded minus 14.7 points (long term average : minus 10.6 points at March 2024), a rose by 0.2 points from the previous month.

2月の第三次産業活動指数、ユーロ圏の2月の経常収支_The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in February 2024, the current account balance in Euro-area in February 2024

4月18日に発表された2月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で102.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.5％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、個人向けサービスが1.1％上昇、事業所向けサービスが0.6％上昇しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2月の経常収支は290億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比100億ユーロ減少しました。これはモノの貿易収支の黒字減少が影響したものと推定されます。

The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in February 2024, which was announced on April 18th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of 102.1 points (2015=100), a rose by 1.5 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the personal services rose by 1.1 percent and the business service rose by 0.6 percent.  

Announced on the same day, the current account balance in Euro-area in February 2024 was a working day and seasonally adjusted of €29 billion surplus, a fell by €10 billion from the previous month. It is estimated that this was influenced by the surplus fall of trade balance for goods.

ユーロ圏の3月の消費者物価指数_The consumer price index for Euro-area in March 2024

4月17日に発表されたユーロ圏の3月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は、前年同月比2.4％上昇し、前月の2.6％から伸びが鈍化しました。 うち、最も寄与したのはサービスで、寄与率は 1.76% でした。

The consumer price index by HICP for Euro-area in March 2024, which was announced on April 17th 2024, rose by 2.4 percent from the same month a year earlier and slowed down from 2.6 percent growth of the previous month. Of which, most contributed group was the services group with a contribution rate of 1.76%.

中国の3月の小売売上高・鉱工業生産、中国の2024年1～3月期のGDP、ドイツの4月のZEW企業景況感指数、米国の3月の鉱工業生産指数＿The retail sales and industrial production in China in March 2024, the GDP in China in January-March quarter of 2024, the ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in April 2024, the industrial production in U.S. in March 202

4月16日に発表された中国の3月の消費財の小売売上高は、前年同月比3.1％増加しました。 前月の5.5％の伸びから鈍化しました。

そして、中国の3月の鉱工業生産は前年同月比4.5％増加しました。 前月の7.0％の伸びから鈍化しました。

そして、中国の2024年1～3月期の実質GDPは前年同期比5.3％増加しました。

しかし、来月以降も小売売上高と鉱工業生産の伸び率が年率5.0％を下回れば、今年の中国のGDP成長率は5.0％を下回る可能性があると思います。

同日発表されたドイツの4月のZEW企業景況感指数は42.9ポイントとなり、前月より11.2ポイントと大幅に上昇しました。

また、米国の3月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で102.7ポイント（2017年＝100）となり、前月比0.4％上昇しました。2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

The retail sales of consumer goods in China in March 2024, which was announced on April 16th 2024, increased by 3.1 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 5.5 percent growth of the previous month. 

And the industrial production in China in March 2024 increased by 4.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 7.0 percent growth of the previous month.  

And the real GDP in China in January-March quarter of 2024 increased by 5.3 percent from the same quarter a year earlier. 

But if both the growth rate of the retail sales and the industrial production remain less than 5.0 percent at annual rate from next month , I think  there is a possibility that the growth rate of GDP in China in this year is less than 5.0 percent. 

Announced on the same day, the ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in April 2024 was 42.9 points, a rose by 11.2 points from the previous month significantly.

And the index of industrial production in U.S. in March 2024 was a seasonally adjusted of 102.7 points (2017=100), a rose by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months.

2月の機械受注、ユーロ圏の2月の鉱工業生産、米国の3月の小売売上高＿The machinery orders in Japan in February 2024, The industrial production in Euro-area in February 2024, The retail sales value in U.S. in March 2024

4月15日に発表された2月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は季節調整済で8,868億円となり、前月比7.7％増加しました。前月の1.7％低下から反転上昇しました。 また、外需も同期間に0.7％増加しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2月の鉱工業生産は季節調整済で前月比0.8％増加しましたが、前年同月比は6.4％の減少でした。

同日発表された米国の3月の小売・外食売上高は季節調整済で前月比0.7％増の7,095億ドルでした。 前月の0.9％増から鈍化しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in February 2024, which was announced on April 15th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY886.8 billion, a rose by 7.7 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 1.7 percent fall of previous month. And the machinery orders from overseas rose by 0.7 percent during the same period. 

The industrial production in Euro-area in February 2024, which was announced on the same day, increased by a seasonally adjusted of 0.8 percent from the previous month but it decreased by 6.4 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The sales value of retail and food services in U.S. in March 2024, which was announced on the same day, was a seasonally adjusted of US$709.5 billion, a rose by 0.7 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.9 percent growth of the previous month.

3月のマネーストック、中国の3月の消費者物価指数・生産者物価指数、米国の3月の生産者物価指数＿The money stock in Japan in March 2024, the CPI and PPI in China in March 2024, the PPI in U.S. in March 2024

4月11日に発表された3月のマネーストックM2の平均残高は季節調整値で1,253.1兆円となり、前月比3.5％増加しました。 前月の2.5％増から加速しました。

同日発表された中国の3月の消費者物価指数は前月比1.0％低下しました。 前月の1.0％増から反転、大幅に下落しました。 今回の下落が一時的な下落なのか、それとも継続的な下落傾向の始まりなのか、注目していきたいと思います。

また、中国の3月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は前月比0.1％低下しました。 前月比で5カ月連続の低下となりました。

同日発表された米国の3月の生産者物価指数は季節調整値で前月比0.2％上昇しました。 うち、最終需要財価格は0.1パーセント下落しましたが、最終需要サービス価格は0.3％上昇しました。

The average amounts outstanding of money stock M2 in Japan in March 2024, which was announced on April 11th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY1253.1 trillion, a rose by 3.5 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 2.5 percent growth of the previous month.

The consumer price index in China in March 2024, which was announced on the same day, fell by 1.0 percent from the previous month. It reversed and fell from 1.0 percent growth of the previous month significantly. I think we should keep an eye on whether this fall is temporary drop or beginning of continuous downward trend. 

And the industrial producer price index in China in March 2024 fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. It fell for five consecutive months compared with previous month.

The producer price index in U.S. in March 2024, which was announced on the same day, rose by a seasonally adjusted of 0.2 percent from the previous month. Of which, the final demand goods price fell by 0.1 percent but the final demand services price rose by 0.3 percent.

3月の国内企業物価指数、米国の3月の消費者物価指数、米国の2月の卸売取引報告、ブラジルの3月の消費者物価指数＿The PPI for Japan in March 2024, the CPI for U.S. in March 2024, the wholesale trade report in U.S in February 2024, the CPI in Brazil in March

4月10日に発表された3月の国内企業物価指数は120.7ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％上昇しました。うち、最も寄与したグループは非鉄金属で、寄与率は0.07%でした。

同日発表された米国の3月の消費者物価指数は季節調整済で前月比0.4％上昇しました。 エネルギー価格は前月の2.3％上昇から1.1％上昇に鈍化しましたが、消費者物価指数は0.4％上昇で前月から横ばいとなりました。

また、同日発表された米国の2月の卸売取引報告によると、前月比で売上高は2.3％増加しましたが、在庫は0.5％の増加にとどまりました。

また、同日発表されたブラジルの3月のIPCAによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.16％上昇と、前月の0.83％から大幅に鈍化しました。

The producer price index for Japan in March 2024, which was announced on April 10th 2024, was 120.7 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. Of which, most contributed group was the nonferrous metals with a contribution rate of 0.07%.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for U.S. in March 2024 rose by a seasonally adjusted of 0.4 percent from the previous month. The energy price slowed down to 1.1 percent growth from 2.3 percent growth of the previous month but CPI unchanged from the previous month for 0.4 percent growth. 

And according to the wholesale trade report in U.S in February 2024, which was announced on the same day, compared with the previous month, the sales increased by 2.3 percent but the inventories increased by 0.5 percent modestly. 

And the consumer price index by IPCA in Brazil in March, which was announced on the same day, rose by 0.16% from the previous month and slowed down from 0.83 percent growth of the previous month significantly.

消費動向調査_The consumer confidence survey for Japan

 4月9日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、3月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は、季節調整値で39.5ポイントとなり、前月比0.5ポイント上昇しました。 前月比で6カ月連続の上昇となりました。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was  announced on April 9th 2024, the consumer confidence index for March 2024 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted of 39.5 points, a rose by 0.5 points from the previous month. It rose for six consecutive months compared with previous month.

毎月勤労統計調査、2月の経常収支、景気ウォッチャー調査＿The latest monthly labour survey in Japan, the current account balance of Japan in February 2024, the latest economy watchers survey for Japan

4月8日に発表された最新の毎月勤労統計調査によると、2月の1人当たりの現金給与総額は28万2,265円で、前年同月比1.8％増加しました。 前月の1.5％から加速しましたが、同月のインフレ年率2.8％を下回りました。

同日発表された2月の経常収支は2兆6440億円の黒字となり、前年同月比4430億円増加しました。

また、同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、3月の景気の現状判断DIは季節調整値で49.8となり、前月比1.5ポイント低下しました。 14カ月ぶりに50を下回りました。 内訳を見ると、企業活動関連指数（＝50.0％）と雇用関連指数（＝52.5％）は50以上でしたが、家計活動関連指数（＝49.4％）は50を下回りました。

According to the latest monthly labour survey in Japan, which was announced on April 8th 2024, the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in Japan in February 2024 was JPY282265 per person, a rose by 1.8 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 1.5 percent from the previous month, but was lower than 2.8 percent of inflation annual rate in the same month.

Announced on the same day, the current account balance of Japan in February 2024 was JPY2644 billion surplus, a increased by JPY443 billion from the same month a year earlier.

And according to the latest economy watchers survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the  current economic conditions in March 2024 was at a seasonally adjusted DI of 49.8 percent, a fell by 1.5 percentage points from the previous month. It was less than 50 percent for the first time in 14 months. Looking at the breakdown of it, the corporate activity-related index (= 50.0 percent) and the employment-related index (= 52.5 percent) were 50 percent or above, but the household activity-related index (= 49.4 percent) was less than 50 percent.

ユーロ圏の2月の工業製品の生産者物価指数、米国の2月の貿易収支＿The industrial producer price index for Euro-area in February 2024, the trade balance of U.S. in February 2024

4月4日に発表されたユーロ圏の2月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は前月比1.0％低下しました。 主にエネルギー価格の下落が寄与し、前月比では4カ月連続の下落となりました。

同日発表された米国の2月の貿易収支は689億ドルの赤字で、前月比13億ドル増加しました。輸出入共に前月より増加しました。

The industrial producer price index for Euro-area in February 2024, which was announced on April 4th 2024,  fell by 1.0 percent from the previous month. It fell for four consecutive months compared with previous month that was contributed fall for energy price mainly.

Announced on the same day, the trade balance of U.S. in February 2024 was US$68.9 billion deficit, a rose by US$1.3 billion from the previous month. Both exports and imports rose from previous month.

ユーロ圏の3月の消費者物価指数、米国の3月のISM非製造業PMI＿The consumer price index by HICP for Euro-are in March 2024, the ISM services PMI for U.S. in March 2024

4月3日に発表されたユーロ圏の3月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.8％上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の3月のISM非製造業PMIは51.4となり、前月から1.2ポイント低下しました。 これは 50 を超えていますが、最近 12 か月平均の 52.5には達していません。

The consumer price index by HICP for Euro-are in March 2024, which was announced on April 3rd 2024, rose by 0.8 percent from the previous month.

Anounced on the same day, the ISM services PMI for U.S. in March 2024 was 51.4 percent, a fell by 1.2 percentage points from the previous month. It was more than 50 percent but was less than 52.5 percent of recent 12months average.

3月のマネタリーベース、ドイツの3月の消費者物価指数＿The monetary base in Japan in March 2024, the consumer price index for Germany in March 2024

4月2日に発表された3月のマネタリーベースは、前月比、季節調整済の年率で、3.6％増加しました。 3カ月ぶりに増加しました。

同日発表されたドイツの3月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.4％上昇しました。

The monetary base in Japan in March 2024, which was announced on April 2nd 2024, increased by a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.6 percent from the previous month. It increased for the first time in three months.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Germany in March 2024 rose by 0.4 percent from the previous month.

日銀短観、米国の3月のISM製造業PMI＿the BOJ's Tankan, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in March 2024

4月1日に発表された日銀短観（2024年3月調査）によると、大企業製造業の業況判断指数は11ポイントとなり、前回調査より2ポイント低下しました。

同日発表された米国の3月のISM製造業PMIは50.3となり、前月比2.5ポイント上昇しました。 最近12カ月平均の47.5を上回りました。

According to the BOJ's Tankan for March 2024 survey, which was announced on April 1st 2024, the diffusion index for current business climate for manufacturing large enterprises was 11 percentage points, a fell by 2 percentage points from the previous survey. 

Announced on the same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in March 2024 was 50.3 percent, a rose by 2.5 percentage points from the previous month. It was more than 47.5 percent of recent 12 months average.
