2月6日に発表された最新の家計調査によると、調査対象が二人以上の世帯の場合、12月の家計消費支出指数は季節調整済で98.1ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.9％低下しました。3カ月連続の低下となりました。
同日発表された12月の現金給与総額は前年同月比1.0％増加しました。 しかし、これは12月のインフレ率2.6％未満でした。
また、ユーロ圏の12月の小売取引高は前月比1.1％減少しました。

According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in Japan, which was announced on February 6th 2024, in the case of survey target was two-or-more-person households, the index of family consumption expenditures in December 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 98.1 points (2020=100), a fell by 0.9 percent from the previous month. It fell for three consecutive months.
Announced on the same day, the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in Japan in December 2023 rose by 1.0 percent from the same month a year earlier. But it was less than 2.6 percent of inflation annual rate in December 2023.
And the volume of retail trade in Euro-area in December 2023 fell by 1.1 percent from the previous month.
