12月の景気一致指数、ユーロ圏の2月の経済景況感指数、米国の2023年第4四半期のGDP＿The coincident index of business condition for Japan in December 2023, the economic sentiment indicator for Euro-area in February 2024, the GDP in U.S. in the 4th quarter of 2023

2月28日に発表された12月の景気一致指数の改定値は115.9ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、速報値の116.2ポイントから低下しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2月の経済景況感指数は季節調整済で95.4ポイント（長期平均＝100）となり、前月比0.7ポイント低下しました。

そして、米国の2023年第4四半期の実質GDPは、第2次推計で前四半期比、年率3.2％増加しました。 第1次推計の3.3％成長からは低下しました。

The revised figure of coincident index of business condition for Japan in December 2023, which was announced on February 28th 2024, was 115.9 points (2020=100) that fell from 116.2 points in the preliminary figure.

Announced on the same day, the economic sentiment indicator for Euro-area in February 2024 recorded a seasonally adjusted of 95.4 points (long term average = 100), a fell by 0.7 points from the previous month.

And, the real gross domestic product in U.S. in  the fourth quarter of 2023 in second estimate increased by an annual rate of 3.2 percent from the previous quarter. It fell from 3.3 percent growth in the advance estimate.

2月27日に発表された1月の消費者物価指数は、季節調整済で107.0ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月と変わらずとなりました。

同日発表された米国の1月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注額は季節調整済で前月比0.1％増の737億ドルとなりました。

そして、米国の2023年12月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比6.13％上昇しました。

また、米国の2月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は106.7ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比4.2ポイント低下しました。

The consumer price index for Japan in January 2024, which was announced on February 27th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of 107.0 points (2020=100) that unchanged from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in U.S. in January 2024 were a seasonally adjusted of US$73.7 billion, a rose by 0.1 percent from the previous month. 

And the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index in U.S. in December 2023 rose by 6.13 percent from the same month a year earlier.

And the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in February 2024 was 106.7 points (1985=100), a fell by 4.2 points from the previous month.

1月の企業向けサービス価格指数＿The services producer price index for Japan in January 2024

2月26日に発表された1月の企業向けサービス価格指数は109.8ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前年同月比2.1％上昇しました。 前月の2.4％増から鈍化しました。

前年比前月差は0.3％で、最も寄与率が高かったのは、ホテル、ランドリーサービス、機械の修理やメンテナンスなど、諸サービスの0.27パーセントの低下でした。

The services producer price index for Japan in January 2024, which was announced on February 26th 2024, was 109.8 points (2015=100), a rose by 2.1 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 2.4 percent growth of the previous month. 

The monthly difference of contribution to yearly changes was 0.3 percent and it's most contribution rate was 0.27 percent fall of the category of other services for example hotels, laundry services, machinery repair and maintenance and so on.

1月の貿易収支、ユーロ圏の2月の消費者信頼感指数＿The trade balance in Japan in January 2024, the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in February 2024

2月21日に発表された1月の貿易収支は、季節調整値で2,353億円の黒字となりました。 前月に比べ、輸出は3.6％減、輸入は10.5％減となりました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2月の消費者信頼感指数はマイナス15.5ポイントとなり、前月比0.6ポイント上昇しました。 依然として長期平均を大きく下回っていますが、2022 年以降増加傾向にあります。　ただ、最近は踊り場に立っている可能性もあり、継続的に長期平均に近づいていくかどうかは注目すべきかと思います。

The trade balance in Japan in January 2024, which was announced on February 21th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY235.3 billion surplus. The exports fell by 3.6 percent and the imports fell by 10.5 percent compared with the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in February 2024 recorded minus 15.5 points, a rose by 0.6 points from the previous month. It remains well below long-term average but it has a tendency to increase since 2022.  But there is a possibility standing on a landing recently, so I think we should keep an eye on whether it's continuous approaching  the long term average  or not.

ユーロ圏の2023年12月の経常収支、The current account balance in Euro-area in December 2023

2月20日に発表されたユーロ圏の2023年12月の経常収支は320億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比100億ユーロ増加しました。

そして、2023年の暦年では2,600億ユーロの黒字を記録し、前年の820億ユーロの赤字から反転して増加しました。 2023年の黒字化には主にモノの貿易収支の伸びが寄与しました。

The current account balance in Euro-area in December 2023, which was announced on February 20th 2024, recorded €32 billion surplus, a rose by €10 billion from the previous month. 

And it in terms of calendar year of 2023 recorded €260 billion surplus, a reversed and rose from €82 billion deficit of the previous year. The growth of trade balance for goods made a contribution to the surplus in 2023 mainly.

12月の機械受注_The machinery orders in Japan in December 2023

2月19日に発表された12月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比2.7％増加しました。

また、2023年10-12月期では前期比1.0％減少しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in December 2023, which was announced on February 19th 2024, rose by a seasonally adjusted of 2.7 percent from the previous month.

2023年第4四半期のGDP、ユーロ圏の12月の貿易収支、米国の1月の小売売上高＿The GDP for Japan in Q4 of 2023, the trade balance of Euro-area in December 2023, the retail trade in U.S. in January 2024

2月15日に発表された2023年10～12月期の実質GDPは前期比、年率0.4％減少となりました。２四半期連続で減少しており、欧米の一般的な基準からは景気後退と言えます。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2023年12月の貿易収支は659億ユーロの黒字となりました。 前月に比べ、輸入は13.5％減少、輸出は1.2％減少しました。

また、米国の1月の小売・外食の売上高は季節調整済で7,002億ドルとなり、前年同月比0.6％増加しましたが、前月比0.8％減少しました。

The real GDP for Japan in October-December quarter of 2023, which was announced on February 15th 2024, fell by an annual rate of 0.4 percent from the previous quarter. It fell for two consecutive quarters and it can be called an economic recession by general western standards.

Announced on the same day, the trade balance of Euro-area in December 2023 was €65.9 billion surplus. The imports fell by 13.5 percent and the exports fell by 1.2 percent from the previous month.

And the retail and food services sales value in U.S. in January 2024 were a seasonally adjusted of US$700.2 billion, a rose by 0.6 percent from the same month a year earlier but a fell by 0.8 percent from the previous month.

2月14日に発表されたユーロ圏の2023年10～12月期の季節調整済の実質GDPは前期比横ばいとなりました。

しかし、ユーロ圏の雇用者数は0.3％増加し、2四半期連続で加速しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2023年12月の鉱工業生産は前月比2.6％増加しました。 前月の0.4％増から大幅に加速しました。 内訳を見ると、資本財が20.5％増加しました。

The real GDP on seasonally adjusted basis for Euro-area in October-December quarter of 2023, which was announced on February 14th 2024, unchanged from the previous quarter. 

But the employment in persons in Euro-area increased by 0.3 percent and it accelerated for two consecutive quarters.

Announced on the same day, the industrial production for Euro-area in December 2023 rose by 2.6 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 0.4 percent growth of the previous month substantially. Looking at the breakdown of it, the capital goods industry rose by 20.5 percent from the previous month.

同日発表されたドイツの2月のZEW企業景況感指数はプラス19.9ポイントとなり、前月比4.7ポイント上昇しました。

また、米国の1月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.3％上昇しました。 前月の0.2％から加速しました。

それから、2月12日に発表されたインドの2023年12月の鉱工業生産指数は151.5ポイント（2011～12年＝100）となり、前年同月比3.8％上昇しました。 前月の2.4％から加速しました。

The producer price index for Japan in January 2024, which was announced on February 13th 2024, was 120.1 points (2020=100) that unchanged from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in February 2024 was plus 19.9 points, a rose by 4.7 points from the previous month. 

And the consumer price index for U.S. in January 2024 rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 0.2 percent of the previous month.

And the index of industrial production for India in December 2023, which was announced on February 12th 2024, was 151.5 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 3.8 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 2.4 percent of the previous month.

12月の経常収支、景気ウォッチャー調査、中国の1月の生産者物価指数・消費者物価指数、ブラジルの1月の消費者物価指数＿The current account balance of Japan in December 2023, the economy watchers survey for Japan, the PPI and CPI for China in January 2024, the CPI for Brazil in January 2024

2月8日に発表された12月の経常収支は、季節調整後1兆8千100億円の黒字となり、前月比750億円減少しました。

また、同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、1月の景気の現状判断DIは季節調整値で50.2となり、前月比1.6ポイント低下しました。 内訳を見ると、企業動向関連（＝50.9）と雇用関連（＝53.3）は50を超えたものの、家計動向関連（＝49.5）は50を下回りました。

そして同日発表された、中国の1月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は前月比0.2％低下しました。

また、中国の1月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.3％上昇しました。 前月の0.1％から加速しましたた。 春節前後の統計は変動しやすいと思うので、一時的な急増なのか長期的な傾向なのかは注視する必要があると思います。

また、ブラジルの1月のIPCAによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.42％上昇しました。 前月の0.56％の伸びから鈍化しました。

The current account balance of Japan in December 2023, which was announced on February 8th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY1810 billion surplus, a fell by JPY75 billion from the previous month.

And according to the latest economy watchers survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the  current economic conditions in January 2024 was at a seasonally adjusted DI of 50.2 percent, a fell by 1.6 percentage points from the previous month. Lookin at the breakdown of it, the corporate activity-related index (= 50.9 percent) and the employment-related index (= 53.3 percent) were more than 50 percent, but the household activity-related index (= 49.5 percent) was less than 50 percent.

And announced on the same day, the producer price index for industrial products for China in January 2024 fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month. 

And the consumer price index for China in January 2024 rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 0.1 percent growth of the previous month. I think we should keep an eye whether it's temporary spike or long term trend because I think the statistics around the Chinese New Year period tend to fluctuate.

And the consumer price index by IPCA for Brazil in January 2024 rose by 0.42 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.56 percent growth of the previous month.

2月7日に発表された12月の景気動向一致指数は116.2ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比1.6ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表されたドイツの12月の鉱工業生産指数は季節・暦調整済みで92.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.6％低下しました。2023年6月以降、減少傾向にあります。

また、米国の12月の貿易収支は622億ドルの赤字で、前月比0.5％増加しました。 輸出入ともに前月より増加しました。

また、米国の12月の消費者信用残高は、季節調整済の年率で前月比0.4％増加しました。 前月の5.7％の伸びから鈍化しました。

The coincident index of business condition for Japan in December 2023, which was announced on February 7th 2024, was 116.2 points (2020=100), a rose by 1.6 points from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the index of industrial production for Germany in December 2023 was 92.7 points (2015=100) on a seasonally and calendar adjusted basis, a fell by 1.6 percent from the previous month. It is on a downward trend since June 2023. 

And the international trade balance of U.S. in December 2023 was US$62.2 billion deficit, a rose by 0.5 percent from the previous month. Both exports and imports rose from the previous month.

And the consumer credit outstanding in U.S. in December 2023 increased by a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.4 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 5.7 percent growth of the previous month.

家計調査、12月の現金給与総額、ユーロ圏の12月の小売取引高＿ The latest family income and expenditure survey in Japan, the personal income in Japan in December 2023, the volume of retail trade in Euro-area in December 2023

2月6日に発表された最新の家計調査によると、調査対象が二人以上の世帯の場合、12月の家計消費支出指数は季節調整済で98.1ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.9％低下しました。3カ月連続の低下となりました。

同日発表された12月の現金給与総額は前年同月比1.0％増加しました。 しかし、これは12月のインフレ率2.6％未満でした。

また、ユーロ圏の12月の小売取引高は前月比1.1％減少しました。

According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in Japan, which was announced on February 6th 2024, in the case of survey target was two-or-more-person households, the index of family  consumption expenditures in December 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 98.1 points (2020=100), a fell by 0.9 percent from the previous month. It fell for three consecutive months. 

Announced on the same day, the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in Japan in December 2023 rose by 1.0 percent from the same month a year earlier. But it was less than 2.6 percent of inflation annual rate in December 2023.

And the volume of retail trade in Euro-area in December 2023 fell by 1.1 percent from the previous month.

2月5日に発表されたドイツの12月の貿易収支は、季節調整値で222億ユーロの黒字となりました。 輸出入ともに前月から減少しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の12月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は145.4ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.8％低下しました。 前月比では2カ月連続の低下となりました。

また、米国の1 月のISM非製造業PMI は 53.4となり、前月から 2.9 ポイント上昇しました。 この水準は、過去 12 か月平均の 52.6 を上回りました。

The foreign trade balance of Germany in December 2023, which was announced on February 5th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of € 22.2 billion surplus. Both exports and imports fell from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the industrial producer price index for Euro-area in December 2023 was 145.4 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.8 percent from the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months compared with the previous month.

And the ISM services PMI in U.S. in January 2024 was 53.4 percent, a rose by 2.9 percentage points from the previous month. This level was more than 52.6 percent of last 12 months average.

ユーロ圏の1月の消費者物価指数、米国の1月のISM製造業PMI＿The CPI for Euro-area in January 2024, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in January 2024

2月1日に発表されたユーロ圏の1月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.4％低下しました。 前年同月比では2.8％上昇しましたが、前月の2.9％からは鈍化しました。

同日発表された米国の1月のISM製造業PMIは49.1となり、前月比2.0ポイント上昇しました。 50未満でしたが、2カ月連続で上昇しました。

The consumer price index by HICP for Euro-area in January 2024, which was announced on February 1st 2024, fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It rose by 2.8 percent from the same month a year earlier, but it slowed down from 2.9 percent of the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in January 2024 was 49.1 percent, a rose by 2.0 percentage points from the previous month. It was less than 50 percent, but it rose for two consecutive months.

12月の小売業販売額・鉱工業生産、消費動向調査、中国の1月の製造業PMI、ドイツ・フランスの1月の消費者物価指数＿The retail sales value and industrial production in Japan in December 2023, the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, the manufacturing PMI for China in January 2024 , the CPI for Germany and France in January 2024

1月31日に発表された2023年12月の季節調整済の小売業販売額は前月比2.9％減少しました。

同日発表された12月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で105.9ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比1.8％上昇しました。

また、同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、1月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済で38.0ポイントとなり、前月比0.8ポイント上昇しました。4カ月連続の上昇となりました。

また、中国の1月の製造業PMIは49.2となり、前月比0.2ポイント上昇しました。 50未満でしたが、4カ月ぶりに上昇しました。

また、ドイツの1月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.2％上昇しました。

また、フランスの1月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.2％低下しました。

The seasonally adjusted of retail sales value in Japan in December 2023, which was announced on January 31th 2024, fell by 2.9 percent from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the index of industrial production for Japan in December 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 105.9 points (2020=100), a rose by 1.8 percent from the previous month.

And according to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was  announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for January 2024 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted sore of 38.0 points, a rose by 0.8 points from the previous month. It rose for four consecutive months. 

And the manufacturing PMI for China in January 2024 was 49.2 percent, a rose by 0.2 percentage points from the previous month. It was less than 50 percent but it rose for the first time in four months.

And the consumer price index for Germany in January 2024 rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month.

And the consumer price index for France in January 2024 fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month.
