6月1日に公表された法人企業統計調査によれば、2022年1-3月期の設備投資（金融・保険を除く、季節調整）は前四半期から0.3％増加しました。 設備投資の内訳を見ると、製造業は1.7％増加（前四半期比）、非製造業は0.3％減少（前四半期比）でした。
同日発表された米国の5月のISM製造業PMIは56.1、前月から0.7ポイント上昇しました。

According to the financial statements statistics of corporations by industry of Japan, which was announced on June 1st 2022, the capital expenditure in January-March quarter of 2022 (excluding finance and insurance industry. seasonally adjusted) rose by 0.3 percent from the previous quarter. Looking at the breakdown of that capital expenditure, the manufacturing industry rose by 1.7 percent (QoQ), and the non-manufacturing industry fell by 0.3 percent (QoQ).
Announced on the same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI for US in May 2022 was 56.1 percent, a rose by 0.7 percentage point from the previous month.
