ユーロ圏の経済景況感指数、米国のADP雇用報告、FRBの金融政策決定＿The economic sentiment indicator for euro area, The ADP National Employment Report for U.S., Fed's decision for monetary policy

7月30日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年7月の経済景況感指数は95.8ポイント（長期平均＝100）となり、前月比1.6ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表された米国のADP雇用報告によると、2025年7月の民間雇用者数は10万4000人で、大方の市場予想を上回りました。

同日、FRBは、予想通り、フェデラルファンド金利の誘導目標レンジを4.5～4.5％に据え置くことを決定しました。FRBは「失業率は依然として低水準にあり、労働市場の状況は堅調に推移している。インフレ率はやや高水準にある」と述べました。

The economic sentiment indicator for euro area in July 2025, which was announced on 30th July 2025, was 95.8 points (long term average = 100), a rose by 1.6 points from the previous month.

According to the ADP National Employment Report for U.S., which was announced on the same day, U.S. private employment in July 2025 was 104000 that exceeded the most market expectations.

On the same day Fed decided to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 4-1/4 to 4-1/2 percent as expected. Fed said "The unemployment rate remains low, and labor market conditions remain solid. Inflation remains somewhat elevated.".

米国のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数・コンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数_The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index and the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S.

7月29日に発表された米国の2025年5月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比2.79%上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は97.2ポイントで、前月比2.0ポイント上昇しました。

しかし、コンファレンス・ボードは、「しかしながら、現在の雇用機会に関する評価は7か月連続で弱まり、2021年3月以来の最低水準に達した。特に、消費者の18.9%が7月に仕事を見つけるのが難しいと回答し、1月の14.5%から増加した」と述べました。

The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index for U.S. in May 2025, which was announced on 29th July 2025, rose by 2.79 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 97.2 points, a rose by 2.0 points from the previous month.  

But the Conference Board said "However, their appraisal of current job availability weakened for the seventh consecutive month, reaching its lowest level since March 2021. Notably, 18.9% of consumers indicated that jobs were hard to get in July, up from 14.5% in January.”.

インドの鉱工業生産＿The industrial production for India

7月28日に発表されたインドの2025年6月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は153.3ポイント（2011-12年＝100）となり、前年同月比1.5%上昇しました。2025年5月の1.9%からは減速しました。しかし、製造業の場合、2025年6月の成長率は3.9％となり、2025年5月の3.2％から加速しました。

The preliminary estimate of index of industrial production for India in June 2025, which was announced on 28th July 2025, was 153.3 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 1.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 1.9 percent in May 2025.　But, in the case of manufacturing sector, the growth rate in June 2025 was 3.9 percent that accelerated from 3.2 percent in May 2025.

欧州中央銀行の金融政策決定、米国の新規失業保険申請件数＿Monetary policy decisions by European Central Bank, Unemployment insurance weekly number of applications in the U.S.

2025年7月24日、欧州中央銀行は主要3金利を据え置くと発表しました。声明で「理事会による過去の利下げの影響もあり、経済はこれまでのところ、厳しい世界経済環境において総じて底堅い動きを見せている。しかし同時に、特に貿易摩擦の影響で、依然として極めて不確実な状況が続いている」と述べました。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月19日終了週における新規失業保険申請件数の4週間移動平均は22万4500件で、前週の平均22万9500件から5000件減少しました。

European Central Bank announced on 24th July 2025 that they decided to keep the three key ECB interest rates unchanged.  They said "Partly reflecting the Governing Council’s past interest rate cuts, the economy has so far proven resilient overall in a challenging global environment. At the same time, the environment remains exceptionally uncertain, especially because of trade disputes.".

The 4-week moving average of unemployment insurance weekly number of applications in the U.S. in the week ending 19th July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 224,500 claims, a decrease of 5,000 claims from the previous week's average of 229,500.

ユーロ圏の消費者信頼感指数、米国の中古住宅販売件数＿The consumer confidence indicator for euro area, The existing home sales in the U.S.

7月23日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年7月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス14.7ポイントとなり、前月比0.6ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年6月の中古住宅販売件数は前月比2.7%減少しました。また、中古住宅の平均販売価格は579,900米ドルで、2025年5月の566,500米ドルから上昇しました。

The preliminary estimate of consumer confidence indicator for euro area in July 2025, which was announced on 23rd July 2025, was minus 14.7 points, a rose by 0.6 percentage points from the previous month.

The existing home sales in the U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased by 2.7%  from the previous month. And the mean sales price of existing homes was US$579900, up from US$566500 in May 2025.

米国のコンファレンス・ボード景気先行指数・ミシガン大学消費者信頼感指数＿The Conference Board Leading Economic Index and University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for the U.S.

7月21日に発表された、米国の2025年6月のコンファレンス・ボード景気先行指数は98.8ポイント（2016年＝100）で、前月比0.3%低下しました。

7月18日に発表された米国の2025年7月のミシガン大学消費者信頼感指数は61.8ポイントで、前月比1.1ポイント上昇しましたが、前年同月比では6.9%低下しました。ミシガン大学は、「例えば貿易政策が予見可能な将来にわたって安定するなど、インフレが悪化する可能性が低いと消費者が確信しない限り、経済への信頼を取り戻す可能性は低い」と報告しました。

The Conference Board Leading Economic Index for the U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on 21st July 2025, was 98.8 points (2016=100), a fell by 0.3% from the previous month. 

The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for the U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on 18th July 2025, was 61.8 points, a rose by 1.1 points from the previous month but fell by 6.9 percent from the same month a year earlier. The University of Michigan reported "Consumers are unlikely to regain their confidence in the economy unless they feel assured that inflation is unlikely to worsen, for example if trade policy stabilizes for the foreseeable future.".
