5月22日に発表された2025年3月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）の季節調整値は、前月比13.0%増と大幅に増加しました。2カ月連続の増加となりました。ただし、今回の発表によると、2025年度は2024年度と比較して2.1%の減少が見込まれています。
同日発表されたドイツの2025年5月のIFO企業景況感指数は87.5ポイント（2015年＝100）で、前月比0.6ポイント上昇しました。5カ月連続の上昇となりました。

The seasonally adjusted machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in the Japan in March 2025, which was announced on 22nd May 2025, significantly increased by 13.0 percent from the previous month. It increased for two consecutive months. However, according to this announcement, a decrease of 2.1% is expected in April to June of 2025 compared to the same period of 2024.
The ifo business climate index for Germany in May 2025, which was announced on the same day. was 87.5 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.6 points from the previous month. It rose for five consecutive months.
