消費動向調査、米国のGDP・住宅販売保留指数＿The consumer confidence survey for Japan, The GDP and pending home sales index for U.S.

5月29日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2025年5月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は、季節調整済で32.8ポイントとなり、前月比1.6ポイント上昇しました。5カ月連続の低下の後、上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年第1四半期の実質GDPの2次推計値は、前期比0.2%の低下となりました。1次推計値の0.3%低下から修正されました。

同日発表された米国の2025年4月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は、季節調整済で71.3ポイントとなり、前月比6.3%の低下となりました。また、米国の4地域すべてのサブインデックスは前月比で低下しました。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on 29th May 2025, the consumer confidence index for May 2025 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 32.8 points on a seasonally adjusted basis. Compared with the previous month, it rose by 1.6 points from the previous month after fell for five consecutive months.

The second estimate of real GDP of U.S. in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased by 0.2 percent from the previous quarter. It revised from 0.3 percent decreased of first estimate.

The preliminary estimate of pending home sales index for U.S. in April 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 71.3 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 6.3 percent from the previous month. And it's sub index of all four U.S. regions fell from the previous month.

インドの鉱工業生産、フランスのGDP、米国FOMCの議事要旨＿The industrial production for India, The GDP of France, Minutes of the FOMC of U.S.

5月28日に発表されたインドの2025年4月の鉱工業生産指数は152.0ポイント（2011-12年＝100）となり、前年同月比2.7%増となりました。2025年3月の3.9%増から減速しました。

同日発表されたフランスの2025年第1四半期のGDPは、前四半期比0.1%増となりました。 2024年第4四半期の0.1%の低下から反転し、上昇しました。

同日に発表された2025年5月6～7日の米国FOMCの議事要旨には、「議論の中で、参加者は2%の長期的なインフレ目標へのコミットメントと、長期的なインフレ期待がこの目標水準にしっかりと固定されることの重要性を強く再確認した」、また、「オープンマーケットデスクの市場期待調査の回答者が、今年のGDP予想を大幅に引き下げ、インフレ予想を引き上げ、今後6ヶ月以内に景気後退が発生する確率を大幅に高めていることを、マネージャーは指摘した」と記しています。

The industrial production index for India in April 2025, which was announced on 28th May 2025, was 152.0 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 2.7 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 3.9 percent in March 2025.

The GDP of France in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.1 percent from the previous quarter. It reversed and increased from 0.1 percent fall in 4th quarter of 2024.

Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee of U.S. in 6th-7th May 2025, which was announced on the same day, said "In their discussions, participants strongly reaffirmed their commitment to the 2 percent longer-run inflation objective and to the importance of longer-term inflation expectations being firmly anchored at that target rate. " and "The manager noted that respondents to the Open Market Desk's Survey of Market Expectations had materially lowered their gross domestic product (GDP) forecasts and raised their inflation forecasts for this year while significantly increasing the probability they placed on a recession occurring within the next six months."

企業向けサービス価格指数、フランスの消費者物価指数、ユーロ圏の経済信頼感指数、米国の耐久財受注・S&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数・コンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数＿The services producer price index for Japan, The CPI for France, The ESI for euro area, The durable goods orders, the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index and the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S.

5月27日に発表された2025年4月の企業向けサービス価格指数の速報値は110.5ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.5％上昇しました。2025年3月の0.8％から鈍化しました。

同日発表されたフランスの2025年5月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.1％低下しました。前月比では6か月ぶりの低下となりました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年5月の経済信頼感指数は94.8ポイント（長期平均＝100）となり、前月比1.0ポイント上昇しました。3か月ぶりの上昇となりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年4月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注は、季節調整済で747億ドルとなり、前月比1.3%減少しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年3月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比4.07%上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年5月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は98.0ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比12.3ポイントの大幅上昇となりました。この急上昇の要因は、5月12日の米中貿易協議成立にあると思います。

The preliminary estimate of services producer price index for Japan in April 2025, which was announced on 27th May 2025, was 110.5 points (2020=100), rose by 0.5 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.8 percent in March 2025.

The consumer price index for France in May 2025, which was announced on the same day, fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, this was the first decrease in six months.

The economic sentiment indicator for euro area in May 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 94.8 points (long term average = 100), a rose by 1.0 points from the previous month. This was the first increase in three months.

The new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in the U.S. in April 2025, which was announced on the same day, was US$74.7 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a decreased by 1.3 percent from the previous month.

The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index in the U.S. in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 4.07 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in May 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 98.0 points (1985=100), a significantly rose by 12.3 points from the previous month. I think that the event that led to spike was the May 12 US-China trade deal.

2025年5月26日に発表された2025年3月の景気一致指数の改定値は115.9ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、速報値の116.0ポイントからわずかに低下しました。

機械受注、ドイツのIFO企業景況感指数＿The machinery orders in the Japan, The ifo business climate index for Germany

5月22日に発表された2025年3月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）の季節調整値は、前月比13.0%増と大幅に増加しました。2カ月連続の増加となりました。ただし、今回の発表によると、2025年度は2024年度と比較して2.1%の減少が見込まれています。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年5月のIFO企業景況感指数は87.5ポイント（2015年＝100）で、前月比0.6ポイント上昇しました。5カ月連続の上昇となりました。

貿易収支_The trade balance of Japan

5月21日に発表された2025年4月の季節調整済の貿易収支は4,089億円の赤字となり、前月比40.2%の赤字幅拡大となりました。

前月と比較すると、季節調整済で、輸出は2.7%減少、輸入は1.4%減少しました。

5月20日に発表されたドイツの2025年4月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は126.3ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、前月比0.6%の低下となりました。5ヶ月連続の低下となりました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年3月の経常収支は510億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比100億ユーロの増加となりました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年5月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス15.2ポイントとなり、前月比1.4%ポイント上昇しました。

第三次産業活動指数、中国の小売高・鉱工業生産、ユーロ圏の消費者物価指数＿The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan, The retail sales and industrial production in the China, The CPI in the euro area

5月19日に発表された2025年3月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で104.4ポイント（2019年～2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.3%の低下となりました。産業の内訳をみると、前月比で最も上昇したのは運輸・郵便業、最も低下したのは生活娯楽関連サービス業でした。

同日発表された中国の2025年4月の小売高は4.1兆元で、前年同月比5.1%増加しました。 2025年3月の5.9%からは減速したものの、中国が2025年の目標経済成長率である約5%を上回りました。

同日発表された中国の2025年4月の鉱工業生産は、前年同月比6.1%増加しました。2025年3月の7.7%からは減速したものの、5%を上回りました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年4月の消費者物価指数（HICP）は、前年同月比2.2%上昇し、前月比横ばいとなりました。

The consumer price index by HICP in the euro area in April 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 2.2 percent from the same month a year earlier and unchanged from the previous month.

5月13日に発表された2025年4月の季節調整済のマネーストックM2は、平均残高が1,256兆円となり、前月比4.3%減少しました。3カ月連続の減少となりました。

同日発表されたインドの2025年4月の消費者物価指数は192.6ポイント（2012年＝100）となり、前年同月比3.16%上昇しました。2025年3月の3.34%から鈍化し、2024年10月以降は下落傾向にあります。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年5月のZEW企業景況感指数は25.2ポイントとなり、前月比39.2ポイントの大幅な上昇となりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年4月の季節調整済の消費者物価指数は前月比0.2%上昇しました。

2025年5月12日に発表された2025年3月の季節調整済の経常収支は、2.72兆円の黒字となりました。前月比0.18兆円の減少でした。

同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2025年4月の景気の現状判断DIは季節調整済みで42.6となり、前月比2.5ポイント低下しました。4カ月連続の低下でした。

2025年5月9日に公表された2025年3月18日及び19日の日銀議事要旨では、「経済・物価の見通しのリスク要因として、委員は、各国の通商政策等の動きやその影響を受けた海外の経済・物価動向、資源価格の動向、企業の賃金・価格設定行動など、わが国経済・物価を巡る不確実性は引き続き高いとの認識で一致した」と述べています。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年3月の季節・暦調整済の鉱工業生産は、前月比3.0%増加しました。

The BOJ minutes on 18th and 19th March 2025, which was announced on 9th May 2025, said "As for risks to economic activity and prices, members concurred that there remained high uncertainties surrounding Japan's economic activity and prices, including the evolving situation regarding trade and other policies in each jurisdiction and developments in overseas economic activity and prices under such a situation, developments in commodity prices, and domestic firms' wage- and price-setting behavior."

The seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production for Germany in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 3.0 percent from the previous month.

The calendar and seasonally adjusted trade balance of Germany in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, was EUR21.1 billion surplus. Compared with the previous month, exports increased 1.1percent and imports decreased by 1.4 percent.

According to the monthly wholesale trade report of U.S. in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, the inventories-to-sales ratio was 1.30 and it unchanged from the previous month.

ユーロ圏の小売高、米国Fedの金融政策決定＿The retail trade volume in euro area, Fed decision for monetary policy

5月7日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年3月の小売高の季節調整済指数は101.5ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、前月比0.1%低下しました。2025年2月の0.2%上昇から反転し、低下に転じました。

同日、米国FOMCは、FFレートの目標レンジを4.25～4.5%に据え置くことを決定しました。FOMCは「失業率はここ数ヶ月、低水準で安定しており、労働市場の状況は引き続き堅調である。インフレ率はやや高めに推移している」と述べており、インフレ動向を懸念しているものと推測します。

The seasonally adjusted index of retail trade volume in euro area in March 2025, which was announced on May 7th 2025, was 101.5 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. It reversed and fell from 0.2 percent rose in February 2025.

On the same day, the FOMC in U.S. decided to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 4-1/4 to 4-1/2 percent. They said "The unemployment rate has stabilized at a low level in recent months, and labor market conditions remain solid. Inflation remains somewhat elevated." I assumed that they concerned about inflation trend.

日銀の金融政策決定、消費動向調査、米国のISM製造業PMI＿BOJ decision for monetary policy, The consumer confidence survey for Japan, The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S.

5月1日、日銀は政策金利を0.5%に据え置くことを決定しました。日銀が公表した「経済・物価情勢の展望」では、””「2025年度および2026年度の成長率は、各国の通商政策等の影響を受けて、下振れている。消費者物価の前年比については、2025 年度と2026 年度は、原油価格の下落や今後の成長ペース下振れの影響などから、下振れている。」と述べています。

同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2025年4月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済みで31.2ポイントとなり、前月比2.9ポイントの大幅な低下となりました。前月比では5カ月連続の低下となりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年4月のISM製造業PMIは48.7となり、前月比0.3ポイント低下しました。2カ月連続で50を超えた後、2カ月連続で50を下回りました。

On 1st May 2025, the BOJ decided to remain policy interest rate for 0.5 percent. The Outlook for Economic Activity and Prices was released BOJ that said "The projected growth rates for fiscal 2025 and 2026 are lower due to the effects of trade and other policies in each jurisdiction. The projected year-on-year rates of increase in the CPI for fiscal 2025 and 2026 are lower, mainly reflecting the decline in crude oil prices and the downward revision of the GDP growth rates."

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for April 2025 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 31.2 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 2.9 points on the previous month significantly. Compared with the previous month, it fell for five consecutive months.

The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in April 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 48.7 percent, a fell by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. It below 50 percent for two consecutive months after exceeded 50 percent for two consecutive months.

4月30日に発表された2025年3月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は、季節調整済で101.1ポイントとなり、前月比1.1%の低下となりました。

同日発表された2025年3月の季節調整済の小売業販売額は、前月比1.2%の減少となりました。

同日発表された2025年3月の新設住宅着工戸数は89,432戸となり、前年同月比39.1%の増加となりました。

同日発表された中国の2025年4月の製造業PMIは49.5となり、前月比1.5%ポイントの低下となりました。3か月ぶりに50を下回りました。

同日発表されたフランスの2025年第1四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前四半期比0.1%増となりました。2024年第4四半期の0.1%減から反転上昇しました。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年第1四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前四半期比0.2%増となりました。2024年第4四半期の0.2%減から反転上昇しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年第1四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前四半期比0.4%増となりました。2024年第4四半期の0.2%増から加速しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年第1四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前四半期比年率0.3%減となりました。 2024年第4四半期の2.4%上昇から反転、減少しました。

The preliminary estimate of index of industrial production for Japan in March 2025, which was announced on 30th April 2025, was 101.1 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 1.1 percent from the previous month.

The seasonally adjusted retail sales value in the Japan in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased by 1.2 percent from the previous month.

The housing starts in the Japan in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 89432 units, a rose by 39.1 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The manufacturing PMI for China in April 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 49.5 percent, a fell by 1.5 percentage points from the previous month. It below 50 percent for the first time in three months.

The seasonally adjusted GDP for France in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.1 percent from the previous quarter. It reversed and increased from 0.1 percent fall in 4th quarter of 2024.

The seasonally adjusted GDP for Germany in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.2 percent from the previous quarter. It reversed and increased from 0.2 percent fall in 4th quarter of 2024.

The seasonally adjusted GDP for euro area in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.4 percent from the previous quarter. It accelerated from 0.2 percent rose in 4th quarter of 2024.

The seasonally adjusted GDP for U.S. in 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased at an annual rate of 0.3 percent from the previous quarter. It reversed and decreased from 2.4 percent rose in 4th quarter of 2024.
