米国の2025年2月の住宅販売保留指数＿The pending home sales index for U.S. in February 2025

3月27日に発表された米国の2025年2月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は、季節調整済で72.0ポイントとなり、前月比2.0％上昇しました。しかし、契約締結数は、米国北東部、中西部、南部、西部の4地域すべてで減少しました。

The preliminary estimate of pending home sales index for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on 27th March 2025, was 72.0 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 2.0 percent on the previous month. However the number of contract signings declined in all four, Northeast, Midwest, South and West, U.S. regions.

2025年2月の企業向けサービス価格指数、米国の2025年2月の耐久財受注＿The services producer price index for Japan in February 2025, The durable goods orders in the U.S. in February 2025

3月26日に発表された2025年2月の企業向けサービス価格指数の速報値は108.7ポイント（2020年＝100）で、前年同月比3.0％上昇、前月比横ばいとなりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注は季節調整済で749億ドルで、前月比0.3％減少しました。

The preliminary estimate of services producer price index for Japan in February 2025, which was announced on 26th March 2025, was 108.7 points (2020=100), a rose by 3.0 percent a same month a year earlier and unchanged on the previous month.

The new orders for nondefense capital good excluding aircraft in the U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was US$74.9 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.3 percent on the previous month.

2025年3月25日に発表された2025年1月23日と24日の日銀金融政策決定会合議事要旨では、「委員は、海外の経済・物価動向、資源価格の動向、企業の賃金・価格設定行動など、わが国経済・物価を巡る不確実性は引き続き高いとの認識で一致した。」と記しています。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年3月のIFO企業景況感指数は、季節調整済で86.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.4ポイント上昇しました。内訳をみると、特に製造業の指数が大きく上昇しましたが、受注が若干減少したのが気になります。

同日発表された米国の2025年1月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比4.67%上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年3月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は92.9（1985年=100）で、7.2ポイント低下した。コンファレンス・ボードは「消費者の将来への期待は12年ぶりの低水準」としています。

The BOJ minutes of monetary policy meeting on January 23 and 24, 2025, which was announced on 25th March 2025, described "They concurred that there remained high uncertainties surrounding Japan's economic activity and prices, including developments in overseas economic activity and prices, developments in commodity prices, and domestic firms' wage- and price-setting behavior. "

The IFO business climate index for Germany in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 86.7 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 1.4 points on the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, especially, the index for manufacturing rose significantly but I'm concerned about order books saw a slight decrease.

The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index for U.S. in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 4.67 percent on the same month a year earlier.

The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in March 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 92.9 (1985=100), a fell by 7.2 points. The Conference Board says "Consumers’ expectations for the future at a 12-year low"

ユーロ圏の2025年1月の経常収支、ユーロ圏の2025年3月の消費者信頼感指数＿The current account balance for euro area in January 2025, The consumer confidence indicator for euro area in March 2025

3月21日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年1月の経常収支は350億ユーロの黒字で、前月より30億ユーロ減少しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年3月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス14.5で、前月より0.9ポイント低下しました。

ドイツの2025年2月の工業製品の生産者物価指数、米国の2024年第4四半期の経常収支＿The producer price index of industrial products for Germany in February 2025, The current account balance of U.S. in 4th quarter of 2024

3月20日に発表されたドイツの2025年2月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は、前月比0.2％低下したが、前年同月比0.7％上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2024年第4四半期の経常収支は3,039億ドルの赤字でした。第4四半期の赤字はGDPの4.1％で、第3四半期の4.2％から減少しました。

The producer price index of industrial products for Germany in February 2025, which was announced on March 20th 2025, fell by 0.2 percent on the previous month but rose by 0.7 percent on the same month a year earlier.

The current account balance of U.S. in 4th quarter of 2024, which was announced on the same day, was US$303.9 billion deficit. And the 4th quarter deficit was 4.1 percent of GDP, down from 4.2 percent in the 3rd quarter.

ドイツの2025年3月のZEW企業景況感指数、米国の2025年2月の住宅着工戸数・鉱工業生産＿The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in March 2025, The housing starts and industrial production in the U.S. in February 2025

3月18日に発表されたドイツの2025年3月のZEW企業景況感指数は、前月比25.6ポイントの大幅上昇で、2022年2月以来の高水準となる51.6ポイントとなりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の住宅着工戸数は、季節調整済の年率換算で1,501千戸となり、前月比11.2％増となりましたが、前年同月比では2.9％減でした。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の季節調整済の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は104.2ポイント（2017年＝100）で、前月比0.7％増となりました。2025年1月の0.3％から加速しました。

The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in March 2025, which was announced on March 18th 2025, significantly rose by 25.6 points on the previous month to the highest level since February 2022 to 51.6 point. 

The housing starts in the U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, were  at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,501 thousands of units, a rose by 11.2 percent on the previous month but fell by 2.9 percent on the same month a year earlier.

The preliminary estimate of seasonally adjusted index of industrial production for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 104.2 points (2017=100), a rose by 0.7 percent on the previous month. It accelerated from 0.3 percent in January 2025.

中国の2025年1月から2月の小売売上高・鉱工業生産、米国の2025年2月の小売売上高＿The retail sales of consumer goods and industrial production in the China in January to February 2025, The retail sales in the U.S. in February 2025

3月17日に発表された中国の2025年1月から2月の小売売上高は83731億元で、前年同期比4.0％増となりました。2025年12月の3.7％増から加速しました。

同日発表された中国の2025年1月から2月の鉱工業生産は、前年同期比5.9％増となりました。2025年12月の6.2％増から減速しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の小売・外食の季節調整済の売上高は7227億米ドルで、前月比0.2％増となりました。

The retail sales of consumer goods in the China in January to February 2025, which was announced on March 17th 2025, was CNY8373.1 billion, a increased by 4.0 percent on the same period a year earlier. It accelerated from 3.7 percent in December 2025.

The industrial production in the China in January to February 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 5.9 percent on the same period a year earlier. It slowed down from 6.2 percent in December 2025.

The seasonally adjusted sales of retail and food services in the U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was US$722.7 billion, a increased by 0.2 percent on the previous month.

3月13日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年1月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は、暦・季節調整済で97.1ポイントとなり、前月比0.8％上昇しました。2025年12月の0.4％下落から反転上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の季節調整済の生産者物価指数は前月比横ばいでした。内訳をみると、2025年1月と比較すると、商品価格は0.3％上昇しましたが、サービス価格は0.2％下落しました。

The preliminary estimate of industrial production index for euro area in January 2025, which was announced on March 13th 2025, was 97.1 points on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.8 percent on the previous month. It reversed and rose from 0.4 percent fall in December 2025.

The seasonally adjusted producer price index for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, unchanged from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, compared with January 2025, the goods price rose by 0.3 percent but the services price fell by 0.2 percent.

2025年3月12日に発表された2025年第1四半期の法人企業景気予測調査によると、景況の現状判断指数は大企業、中堅企業ともにプラスとなりましたが、中小企業はマイナスとなりました。2025年第2四半期の見通しも同様の傾向を示しました。

同日発表された2025年2月の国内企業物価指数は125.3ポイント（2020年＝100）で前月と変わらずでした。

同日発表されたインドの2025年1月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は161.3ポイント（2011-12年＝100）で前年同月比5.0％上昇しました。

同日発表されたインドの2025年2月の消費者物価指数は192.5ポイント（2012年＝100）で、前年同月比3.61％上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月の消費者物価指数は、季節調整済で前月比0.2％上昇しました。2025年1月の0.5％上昇から鈍化しました。

同日発表されたブラジルの2025年2月の消費者物価指数（IPCA）は、前月比1.31％上昇しました。2025年1月の0.16％から大幅に加速しました。

According to the business outlook survey in the Japan for 1st quarter of 2025, which was announced on March 12th 2025, the business survey index for present condition had a positive result for  both the large and medium-sized corporations  but had a negative result for the  small sized corporations. The outlook for the 2nd quarter of 2025 showed a similar trend. 

The producer price index for Japan in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 125.3 points (2020=100), a unchanged from the previous month. 

The preliminary estimate of index of industrial production for India in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 161.3 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 5.0 percent on the same month year earlier.

The consumer price index for India in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 192.5 points (2012=100), a rose by 3.61 percent on the same month a year earlier.

The consumer price index for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by a seasonally adjusted rate of 0.2 percent on the previous month. It slowed down from 0.5 percent rose in January 2025.

The consumer price index (IPCA) for Brazil in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 1.31 percent on the previous month. It significantly accelerated from 0.16 percent in January 2025.

家計調査、2024年第4四半期のGDP、2025年2月のマネーストック＿The family income and expenditure survey in the Japan, The GDP of Japan in 4th quarter of 2024, The money stock in the Japan in February 2025

2025年3月11日に発表された最新の家計調査によると、2025年1月の世帯当たり消費支出（調査対象：2人以上の世帯）は季節調整済で前月比4.5％減少しました。2024年12月の1.6％増から反転して減少しました。

同日発表された2024年第4四半期の実質GDPの第2次推計は前四半期比で年率2.2％増となり、第1次推計の2.8％から下方修正されました。

同日発表された2025年2月の季節調整済みのマネーストックM2は1262.5兆円で前月比0.2％減少しました。

According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in the Japan, which was announced on March 11th 2025, the seasonally adjusted consumption expenditure per household (survey target : two-or-more-person households) in January 2025 decreased by 4.5 percent on the previous month. And it reversed and fell from 1.6 percent increased in December 2024.

The 2nd estimate of real GDP of Japan in 4th quarter of 2024, which was announced on the same day, increased by an annual rate of 2.2 percent on the previous quarter and it revised down from 1st estimate of 2.8 percent. 

The seasonally adjusted money stock M2 in the Japan in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was JPY1262.5 trillion, a decreased by 0.2 percent on the previous month.

3月10日に発表された2025年1月の経常収支の季節調整済の速報値は1.93兆円の黒字で、前月比0.79兆円の減少となった。

同日発表された2025年1月の景気一致指数の速報値は116.2ポイント（2020年＝100）で、前月比0.1ポイントの小幅上昇となった。2カ月連続の上昇となったが、内訳をみると、鉱工業生産の寄与度は3カ月連続でマイナスとなりました。

同日発表された景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2025年2月の現状判断DIは季節調整済で45.6となり、前月比3.0ポイントの大幅低下となりました。

The preliminary estimate of seasonally adjusted current account balance of Japan in January 2025, which was announced on March 10th 2025, was JPY1.93 trillion surplus, a decreased by JPY0.79 trillion on the previous month.

The preliminary estimate of coincident index for business conditions in the Japan in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 116.2 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.1 points from the previous month slightly. It rose for two consecutive months. But looking at the breakdown of it, the contribution rate of industrial production remained negative for three consecutive months.

According to the latest economy watchers survey in the Japan, which was announced on the same day, the DI for current economic conditions in February 2025 recorded 45.6 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 3.0 percentage points on the previous month significantly.

同日、欧州中央銀行は主要3金利を25ベーシスポイント引き下げることを決定しました。そして、「経済は引き続き課題に直面しており、ECBスタッフは成長予測を再び下方修正し、2025年は0.9%、2026年は1.2%、2027年は1.3%とした。2025年と2026年の下方修正は、貿易政策の不確実性の高さとより広範な政策の不確実性に一部起因する、輸出の減少と投資の継続的な弱さを反映している」と述べています。

同日に発表された米国の2025年1月の季節調整済の商品・サービス貿易収支は1,314億ドルで、前月比34.0%増加しました。また、同期間、輸入と輸出の両方が増加しました。

同日に発表された米国の2025年1月の月次卸売貿易報告によると、季節調整済の前月比で、売上高は0.3%減少したが、在庫は0.8%増加しました。

The seasonally adjusted volume index of retail trade in the euro area in January 2025, which was announced on March 6th 2025, was 101.1 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.3 percent on the previous month.

On the same day, the European Central Bank decided to lower the three key ECB interest rates by 25 basis points. And they says "The economy faces continued challenges and staff have again marked down their growth projections – to 0.9% for 2025, 1.2% for 2026 and 1.3% for 2027. The downward revisions for 2025 and 2026 reflect lower exports and ongoing weakness in investment, in part originating from high trade policy uncertainty as well as broader policy uncertainty. " 

The seasonally adjusted trade balance in goods and services of U.S. in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, was US$131.4 billion, a increased by 34.0 percent on the previous month. And both imports and exports increased in the same period.

According to the monthly wholesale trade report for U.S. in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, compared with the previous month on a seasonally adjusted basis, the sales decreased by 0.3 percent but the inventories increased by 0.8 percent.

フランスの2025年1月の鉱工業生産、ユーロ圏の2025年1月の生産者物価指数、米国の2025年2月のISM非製造業PMI、2025年3月の米国のベージュブック＿The industrial production in the France in January 2025, The producer price index in the euro area in January 2025, The ISM services PMI for U.S. in February 2025, The Beige Book in the U.S. in March 2025

3月5日に発表されたフランスの2025年1月の製造業の鉱工業生産指数は100.3ポイント（2021年＝100）で、前月比0.7％低下しました。2か月連続の低下となりましたが、2024年12月の1.0％低下から若干加速しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年1月の鉱工業の生産者物価指数の速報値は128.3ポイント（2021年＝100）で、前月比0.8％上昇しました。2024年12月の0.5％上昇から加速しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月のISM非製造業PMIは53.5で、前月比0.7％上昇しました。

同日発表された2025年3月のベージュブックでは、物価について次のように述べています。「複数の地区の企業は、投入コストを顧客に転嫁するのが難しいと指摘しました。しかし、ほとんどの地区の担当者は、投入に対する潜在的な関税が価格引き上げにつながると予想しており、企業が先手を打って価格を引き上げているという報告も散見されました。」

The index of industrial production for manufacturing in the France in January 2025, which was announced on March 5th 2025, was 100.3 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.7 percent on the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months but slightly accelerated from 1.0 percent down in December 2024. 

The preliminary estimate of producer price index for total industrial production in the euro area in January 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 128.3 points (2021=100), a rose by 0.8 percent on the previous month. It accelerated from 0.5 percent up in December 2024.

The ISM services PMI for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 53.5 percent, a rose by 0.7 percentage points on the previous month.  

The Beige Book by Fed in the U.S. in March 2025, which was announced on the same day,  says for prices as follows ; "Firms in multiple Districts noted difficulty passing input costs on to customers. However, contacts in most Districts expected potential tariffs on inputs would lead them to raise prices, with isolated reports of firms raising prices preemptively."

2025年1月の有効求人倍率、2025年2月のマネタリーベース、消費動向調査＿The ratio of job openings to job applicants in the Japan in January 2025, The monetary base in the Japan in February 2025, The consumer confidence survey for Japan

3月4日に発表された2025年1月の有効求人倍率は季節調整値で1.26倍となり、前月より0.01ポイント上昇しました。また、その内訳をみると、例えば事務従事者は0.48倍であるのに対し、建設・採掘従事者は5.27倍など、職種による労働需給の二極化が進んでいるようです。

同日発表された2025年2月のマネタリーベースの平均残高は649.9兆円で、前年同月比1.8％減少しました。前年同月比で6カ月連続の減少となりました。

同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2025年2月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：2人以上の世帯）は季節調整値で35.0ポイントとなり、前月比0.2ポイント低下しました。3カ月連続の低下となりました。

The ratio of job openings to job applicants in the Japan in January 2025, which was announced on March 4th 2025, was 1.26 times on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.01 points from the previous month. And looking at the breakdown of it, for example, the office worker was 0.48 times but the construction and mining worker was 5.27 times and so on. It looks like the  labor market conditions due to different occupations are being polarized.

The average amounts outstanding of monetary base in the Japan in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was  JPY649.9 trillion, a decreased by 1.8 percent on the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month of previous year, it decreased for 6 consecutive months.

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for February 2025 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 35.0 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.2 points on the previous month. It fell for 3 consecutive months.

ユーロ圏の2025年2月のEU基準消費者物価指数、米国の2025年2月のISM製造業PMI＿The HICP for the euro area in February 2025, The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in February 2025

3月3日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年2月のEU基準消費者物価指数の速報値は、前年同月比2.4％上昇しました。2025年1月の2.5％から減速しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年2月のISM製造業PMIは50.3で、前月比0.6ポイント低下しました。

The preliminary estimate of harmonised indices of consumer prices for the euro area in February 2025, which was announced on March 3rd 2025, rose by 2.4 percent on the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 2.5 percent in January 2025.

The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in February 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 50.3 percent, a fell by 0.6 percentage point on the previous month.
