2月17日に発表された2024年第4四半期のGDPの季節調整済の実質成長率は前期比0.7％増で、第3四半期の0.4％増から加速しました。しかし、内訳を見ると、民間消費は0.1％増で、第3四半期の0.7％増から減速しました。
同日発表された2024年12月の第3次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で101.9ポイント（2015年＝100）で、前月比0.1％上昇しました。内訳を見ると、前月比で、個人サービスは0.2％減でしたが、企業サービスは0.4％増でした。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の2024年12月の貿易収支は155億ユーロの黒字で、前年同月比9億ユーロの減少となりました。

The seasonally adjusted real growth rate of GDP of Japan in 4th quarter of 2024, which was announced on February 17th 2025, was 0.7 percent on the previous quarter, it accelerated from 0.4 percent rose in 3rd quarter of 2024. But, looking at the breakdown of it, the private consumption rose by 0.1 percent, it was slowed down from 0.7 percent growth in 3rd quarter of 2024.
The index of tertiary industry activity in the Japan in December 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 101.9 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.1 percent on the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, compared with the previous month, the personal services fell by 0.2 percent but the business service rose by 0.4 percent.
The trade balance in the euro area in December 2024, which was announced on the same day, was EUR15.5 billion surplus, a decreased by EUR0.9 billion on the same month a year earlier.
