9月14日に発表された7月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力会社を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比1.1％減となりました。 ただ、外需は1.6％増加しました。
同日発表された米国の8月の小売・外食の月間売上高は季節調整済で6970億ドルとなり、前月比0.6％増加しました。 内訳を見ると、自動車・部品販売店の売上高は0.3％増加しましたが、家具店の売上高は1.0％減少しました。
また、米国の8月の卸売物価指数は季節調整済で前月比0.7％上昇しました。 前月の0.4％から加速しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in July 2023, which was announced on September 14th 2023, decreased by a seasonally adjusted of 1.1 percent from the previous month. But the orders from overseas increased by 1.6 percent.
Announced on the same day, the monthly sales for retail and food services in U.S. in August 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of US$ 697 billion, a rose by 0.6 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the sales for motor vehicle & parts dealers rose by 0.3 percent but the sales for furniture & home furniture stores fell by 1.0 percent.
And, the producer price index for U.S. in August 2023 rose by a seasonally adjusted of 0.7 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 0.4 percent of the previous month.
