8月17日に発表された7月の季節調整後の貿易収支は5,570億円の赤字となり、前月比3.1％増加しました。 輸出、輸入ともに前月比2.0％増加しました。
同日発表された6月の機械受注の民需（船舶、電力を除く）は季節調整値で前月比2.7％増となりました。 また、外需は6.9％減少（同）となりました。
6月の第3次産業活動指数は季節調整値で101.3ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.4％低下しました。
また、ユーロ圏の6月の季節調整後の貿易収支は125億ユーロの黒字となり、前月の2億ユーロの黒字から増加しました。

The seasonally adjusted trade balance of Japan in July 2023, which was announced on August 17th 2023, was JPY 557 billion deficit, a rose by 3.1 percent from the previous month. Both the export and import rose by 2.0 percent from the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in June 2023 increased by a seasonally adjusted rate of 2.7 percent from the previous month. And the orders from overseas decreased by 6.9 percent (same as above).
The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in June 2023 was a seasonally adjusted score of 101.3 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month.
And the seasonally adjusted trade balance in goods of Euro-area in June 2023 was € 12.5 billion surplus, a rose from € 0.2 billion surplus of the previous month.
