11月の小売業販売額・鉱工業生産、米国の11月の卸売在庫・住宅販売保留指数＿The retail sales and industrial production in Japan for November 2023, the wholesale inventories and PHSI in U.S. for November 2023

12月28日に発表された11月の小売業販売額は、季節調整済で前月比1.0％上昇しました。

同日発表された11月の鉱工業生産指数は104.0ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.9％低下しました。

また、米国の11月の卸売在庫は季節調整済で8,957億ドルとなり、前月比0.2％減少しました。

また、米国の11月の住宅販売保留指数は71.6ポイントで、前月から変わらずでした。

The retail sales value in Japan for November 2023, which was announced on December 28th 2023, rose by a seasonally adjusted of 1.0 percent from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the index of industrial production in Japan for November 2023 was 104.0 points (2020=100), a fell by 0.9 percent from the previous month. 

And, the wholesale inventories in U.S. for November 2023 were a seasonally adjusted of US$895.7 billion, a fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month.

And, the Pending Home Sales Index in U.S. in November 2023 was 71.6 points that unchanged from the previous month.

11月の新設住宅着工戸数＿The housing starts in Japan for November 2023

12月27日に発表された11月の新設住宅着工戸数は、季節調整済、年率換算で77万5000戸となり、前月比4.0％減少しました。 4カ月ぶりに80万戸を下回りました。

27th 2023, was a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 775000 units, a fell by 4.0 percent from the previous month. It's less than 800000 units for the first time in four months.

12月26日に発表された11月の有効求人倍率は、季節調整済で1.29倍、前月と変わらずとなりました。 しかし、その内訳を見てみますと、例えば介護サービス従事者、保健医療サービス従事者、飲食調理従事者等を含むサービス業の倍率は3.09倍でした。

同日発表された11月の企業向けサービス価格指数は110.2ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％上昇しました。 前月比では5カ月連続の上昇となりました。

また、米国の10月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比4.87％上昇しました。

The ratio of job openings to job applicants in Japan for November 2023, which was announced on December 26th 2023, was 1.29 times on a seasonally adjusted basis, that unchanged from the previous month. However, looking at the breakdown of it, the ratio for the service industry category including for example nursing care service workers, health and medical service workers, food and beverage preparation workers and so on was 3.09 times.

Announced on the same day, the services producer price index for Japan in November 2023 was 110.2 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for five consecutive months compared with the previous month.

And the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index for U.S. in October 2023 rose by 4.87 percent from the same month a year earlier.

米国の7～9月期の個人消費支出(PCE)価格指数＿The revised estimate for personal consumption expenditures price index in U.S. in July-September quarter of 2023

12月21日に発表された米国の7～9月期のGDP改定値によると、個人消費支出(PCE)価格指数は前期比2.6％上昇と、0.2ポイント下方修正されました。

According to the revised estimate for GDP of U.S. in July-September quarter of 2023, which was announced on December 21th 2023, the personal consumption expenditures price index rose by 2.6 percent from the previous quarter, a downward revision of 0.2 percentage point.

12月20日に発表された11月の貿易収支は季節調整済で4,089億円の赤字となり、前月比18.4％減少しました。 うち輸出は1.8％減少、輸入は2.7％減少でした。

同日発表されたドイツの11月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は146.2ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.5％下落しました。 前月比では9カ月連続の下落となりました。

また、ユーロ圏の12月の消費者信頼感指数はマイナス15.1ポイントで、前月比1.8ポイント上昇しました。

そして、米国の12月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は110.7ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比9.7ポイント上昇しました。

The trade balance of Japan in November 2023, which was announced on December 20th 2023, was JPY408.9 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 18.4 percent from the previous month. Of which, the export was fell by 1.8 percent and the import fell by 2.7 percent.

Announced on the same day, the producer price index of industrial products for Germany in November 2023 was 146.2 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.5 percent from the previous month. It fell for nine consecutive months compared with the previous month.

And the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in December 2023 was minus 15.1 points, a rose by 1.8 points from the previous month.

And the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in December 2023 was 110.7 points (1985=100), a rose by 9.7 points from the previous month.

日本銀行の金融政策決定、ユーロ圏の11月の消費者物価指数、米国の11月の住宅着工件数＿BOJ's decision for monetary policy, the consumer price index for Euro-area in November 2023, the housing starts in U.S. in November 2023

12月19日、日本銀行は政策金利の据え置きを決定しました。

12月19日に発表されたユーロ圏の11月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.6％低下しました。

同日発表された米国の11月の住宅着工件数は季節調整済の年率156万戸で、前月比14.8％増加しました。

The consumer price index by HICP for Euro-area in November 2023, which was announced on December 19th 2023, fell by 0.6 percent from the previous month. 

Announced on the same day, the housing starts in U.S. in November 2023 were a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1560 thousands of units, a rose by 14.8 percent from the previous month.

ドイツの12月のifo企業景況感指数_The ifo business climate index for Germany in December 2023

 12月18日に発表されたドイツの12月のifo企業景況感指数は季節調整済で86.4ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.8ポイント低下しました。 前月比では4カ月ぶりに低下しました。

12月14日に発表された10月の機械受注の内需（船舶・電力を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比0.7％増加しました。 また、外需は前月比3.4％減少しました。

同日、欧州中央銀行は、政策金利の据え置きを決定したと発表しました。

また、米国の11月の小売・外食の売上高は季節調整済で7,057億ドルとなり、前月比0.27％増加しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in October 2023, which was announced on December 14th 2023, rose by a seasonally adjusted of 0.7 percent from the previous month. And the orders from overseas decreased by 3.4 percent from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the European Central Bank decided to keep policy interest rates.

And, the sales for retail and food services in U.S. in November 2023 were US$705.7 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.27 percent from the previous month.

10～12月期の日銀短観、ユーロ圏の10月の鉱工業生産、米国の11月の卸売物価指数、米国FOMC＿ The BOJ's Tankan for October-December quarter of 2023, the industrial production for Euro-area in October 2023, the producer price index for U.S. in November 2023, FOMC in U.S.

12月13日に発表された10～12月期の日銀短観によると、大企業製造業の現状の業況判断指数は12ポイントとなり、前回調査から3ポイント上昇しました。 3調査連続で前回調査を上回りました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の10月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で102.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.7％低下しました。 2カ月連続の低下となりました。

また、米国の11月の卸売物価指数は季節調整済で前月から変わらずでした。 内訳をみると、食品とエネルギー価格を除いた最終財指数は0.2％上昇、最終需要サービス指数は横ばいでした。

そして、12月13日付けのFOMCによる政策金利の予測によると、2024年末の中央値は4.6％となり、前回の予測から0.5％低下しました。

According to the BOJ's Tankan for October-December quarter of 2023, which was announced on December 13th 2023, the sentiment index for current business climate for manufacturing large enterprises was 12 percentage points, a rose by 3 percentage points from the previous survey. It got better than the previous survey for three consecutive survey. 

Announced on the same day, the index of industrial production for Euro-area in October 2023 was 102.7 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.7 percent from the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months.

And, the producer price index for U.S. in November 2023 unchanged from the previous month on a seasonally adjusted basis. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of final goods less foods and energy price rose by 0.2 percent but the index of final demand services unchanged.   

And, according to the projected appropriate policy path federal funds rate by FOMC in December 13th 2023, the median in end of 2024 was 4.6 percent, a fell by 0.5 percent from the previous projection.

また、ドイツの11月の卸売物価指数は131.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％下落しました。 前月比では2カ月連続の低下となりました。

また、ドイツの12月のZEW企業景況感指数はプラス12.8ポイントとなり、前月より3.0ポイント上昇しました。

また、米国の11月の消費者物価指数は季節調整済で前月比0.1％上昇しました。

11月のマネーストック、10～12月期の法人企業景気予測調査＿The money stock in Japan in November 2023, the business outlook survey in Japan in October-December quarter of 2023

12月11日に発表された11月のマネーストックにおけるM2の平均残高は季節調整済で1240.8兆円となり、前月比年率1.4％増加しました。 前月の2.1％増から鈍化しました。

同日発表された10～12月期の法人企業景気予測調査によれば、大企業の現状判断指数はプラス4.8％ポイントでしたが、中小企業はマイナス3.7％ポイントとなりました。

The average amounts outstanding of M2 in money stock for Japan in November 2023, which was announced on December 11th 2023, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY1,240.8 trillion, a  increased by annual rate of 1.4 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 2.1 percent growth of the previous month.

According to the business outlook survey in Japan in October-December quarter of 2023, which was announced on the same day, the business survey index for current condition for large sized company was plus 4.8 percent points but the index for small sized company was minus 3.7 percent points.

同日発表されたドイツの10月の鉱工業生産指数（季節・暦調整済み）は94.3ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.4％低下しました。

また、ユーロ圏の7-9月四半期のGDPは季節調整済で前期比0.1％減少しました。

そして、米国の10月の月次卸売報告によると、前月と比較して、在庫は0.4％減少し、売上高は1.3％減少しました。

12月6日に発表されたユーロ圏の10月の小売売上高指数は、カレンダー・季節調整済で111.6ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1％上昇しました。 うち、食品売上高指数は1.1％減少しましたが、非食品（自動車燃料を除く）売上高指数は0.8％上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の10月の貿易収支は643億ドルの赤字で、前月比5.1％増加しました。 輸出は1.1％減少しましたが、輸入は0.2％増加しました。

The volume index of retail sales in Euro-area in October 2023, which was announced on December 6th 2023, was a calendar and seasonally adjusted of 111.6 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.1 percent from the previous month. Of which, the index of food products sales fell by 1.1 percent but the index of non-food products (except automotive fuel) sales rose by 0.8 percent.

Announced on the same day, the trade balance of U.S. in October 2023 was US$64.3 billion deficit, a rose by 5.1 percent from the previous month. The exports fell by 1.1 percent but the imports rose by 0.2 percent.

12月5日に発表された11月の東京都区部の消費者物価指数は106.5ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、季節調整済で前月比0.2％下落しました。10 月のこの指数は 0.9 パーセントの伸びで、10 月の全国平均の 0.7 パーセントの伸びを上回りました。この指数は一般に全国平均の先行指標と考えられています。 推移を見守りたいと思います。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の10月の工業部門の生産者物価指数は147.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％上昇しました。 前月の0.5％の伸びから鈍化しました。

また、米国の11月のISM非製造業PMIは52.7で、前月から0.9ポイント上昇しました。

The consumer price index for central area of Tokyo in Japan in November 2023, which was announced on December 5th 2023, was 106.5 points (2020=100), a fell by a seasonally adjusted of 0.2 percent from the previous month.  This index in October 2023 was 0.9 percent growth that was more than 0.7 percent growth  of Japan's national average in October 2023.  This index is generally thought that is considered as leading indicators for Japan's national average.  I'd like to keep an eye on it for a while.

Announced on the same day, the producer price index for industrial sector in Euro-area in October 2023 was 147.1 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.5 percent growth of the previous month.

And the ISM services PMI in U.S. in November 2023 was 52.7 percent, a rose by 0.9 percentage points from the previous month.

12月4日に発表された11月のマネタリーベースは季節調整済で前月比4.1％増加しました。 前月の6.4％の伸びから鈍化しました。

同日発表されたドイツの10月の貿易収支は、カレンダー・季節調整済で178億ユーロの黒字となりました。 輸出は前月比0.2％減の1264億ユーロ、輸入は1.2％減の1086億ユーロでした。

The trade balance of Germany in October 2023, which was announced on same day, was a calendar and seasonally adjusted  of 17.8 billion euros surplus. The exports was 126.4 billion euros a fell by 0.2 percent and the imports was 108.6 billion euros, a fell by 1.2 percent, compared with the previous month.

11月30日に発表された10月の小売販売額は13兆6,480億円となり、季節調整済で前月比1.6％減少しました。

同日発表された10月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で104.6ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比1.0％上昇しました。

また、10月の新設住宅着工戸数は前月比、季節調整済、年率1.0％増加しました。

また、同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、11月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済で36.1ポイントとなり、前月比0.4ポイント上昇しました。2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

また、中国の11月の製造業PMIは49.4で、前月から0.1ポイント低下しました。 2カ月連続で50を下回りました。

そして、インドの7～9月期のGDPは前年同期比7.6％増加しました。

また、ユーロ圏の11月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は前月比0.5％低下しました。 年率は2.4％で、前月の2.9％から鈍化しました。

そして、米国では10月に前月比で個人所得が0.2％増加、個人消費支出が0.2％増加しました。

The retail sales value in Japan in October 2023, which was announced on November 30th 2023, were JPY13648 billion, a fell by a seasonally adjusted of 1.6 percent from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the index of industrial production for Japan in October 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 104.6 points (2020=100), a rose by 1.0 percent from the previous month.

And the housing starts in Japan in October 2023 rose by seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.0 percent from the previous month. 

And according to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was  announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for November 2023 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted sore of 36.1 points, a rose by 0.4 points from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months. 

And the manufacturing PMI in China in November 2023 was 49.4 percent, a fell by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. It was less than 50 percent for two consecutive months.

And the GDP in India in July-September quarter of 2023 increased by 7.6 percent from the same period a year earlier. 

And the consumer price index by HICP in Euro-area in November 2023 fell by 0.5 percent from the previous month. It's annual rate was 2.4 percent that slowed down from 2.9 percent of the previous month. 

And, in U.S. in October 2023, the personal income rose by 0.2 percent and the personal  consumption expenditures rose by 0.2 percent, compared with the previous month.

11月29日に発表されたユーロ圏の11月の経済景況感指数は、季節調整済で93.8ポイント（長期平均＝100）となり、前月比0.3ポイント上昇しました。

また、ドイツの11月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.4％低下しました。 前月比では6カ月ぶりに低下しました。

そして、米国の7～9月四半期の実質GDPは前四半期比年率5.2％増加しました。 うち、個人消費支出は3.6％増加し、民間国内投資は10.5％増加しました。

The economic sentiment indicator for Euro-area in November 2023, which was announced on November 29th 2023, was a seasonally adjusted of 93.8 points (long term average=100), a rose by 0.3 points from the previous month.

And the consumer price index for Germany in November 2023 fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It fell for the first time in 6 months compared with the previous month. 

And the real GDP of U.S. in July-September quarter of 2023 increased by an annual rate of 5.2 percent from the previous quarter. Of which, the personal consumption expenditures increased by 3.6 percent and the gross private domestic investment increased by 10.5 percent.

11月28日に発表された、米国の9月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は318.59ポイント（2000年1月＝100）となり、前年同月比3.92％上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の11月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は102.0ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比2.9ポイント上昇しました。

11月27日に発表された10月の企業向けサービス価格指数は110.0ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前年同月比2.3％上昇しました。 9月の2.0％の伸びから加速しました。今回、寄与率が最も高かったのは、ホテル、機械修理・メンテナンス、労働者派遣サービスなどのその他サービス分野の0.96％でした。

It accelerated from 2.0 percent growth of September 2023. 同日発表された米国の10月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注額は季節調整済で前月比0.1％減の737億ドルとなりました。 前月比では2カ月連続の減少となりました。

また、米国の11月のミシガン大学消費者信頼感指数は61.3ポイントで、前月比2.5ポイント低下しました。

The consumer confidence indicator in Euro-area in November 2023, which was announced on November 22th 2023, was minus 16.9 points (long term average as of October 2023 = minus 11.6 points), a rose by 0.9 points from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in U.S. in October 2023 were a seasonally adjusted of US$73.7 billion, a fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months compared with the previous month.

And, the University of Michigan consumer sentiment index for U.S. in November 2023 was 61.3 points, a fell by 2.5 points from the previous month.

11月20日に発表されたドイツの10月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は147.0ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1％下落しました。 2022年9月に最近の最高値の172.5ポイントをつけて以来、低下傾向にあります。

11月15日に発表された7～9月期の実質GDPは季節調整済の年率で前期比2.1％減少しました。 うち、公的需要は0.6％増加しましたが、民間需要は2.3％減少しました。

同日発表された中国の10月の鉱工業生産は前年同月比4.6％増加しました。 前月の4.5％増から加速しました。

そして、中国の10月の消費財の小売高は前年同月比7.6％増加しました。 前月の5.5％増から加速しました。

また、ユーロ圏の9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で103.5ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.1％低下しました。 この103.5ポイントは現時点で2023年の最低水準でした。

また、米国の10月の外食を含む小売売上高は季節調整済で7,040億ドルとなり、前月比0.1％減少しました。

The real GDP for Japan in July-September quarter of 2023, which was announced on November 15th 2023, fell by a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.1 percent from the previous quarter. Of which, the private demand fell by 2.3 percent but the public demand rose by 0.6 percent.

Announced on the same day, the industrial production in China in October 2023 rose by 4.6 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 4.5 percent growth of the previous month.

And the total retail sales of consumer goods in China in October 2023 rose by 7.6 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 5.5 percent growth of the previous month.  

And the index of industrial production in Euro-area in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 103.5 points (2015=100), a fell by 1.1 percent from the previous month. This 103.5 points was lowest level in 2023 at this time.

And the sales of retail including food services in U.S. in October were a seasonally adjusted of US$704 billion, a fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month.

11月14日に発表されたドイツの11月のZEW景況感指数はプラス9.8ポイントとなり、前月比10.9ポイント上昇しました。半年ぶりに0.0ポイントを上回りました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の7-9月四半期の季節調整済のGDPは前期比0.1％減少しました。

また、米国の10月の季節調整済の消費者物価指数は前月から横ばいになりました。

The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in November 2023, which was announced on November 14th 2023, was plus 9.8 points, a rose by 10.9 points from the previous month.　It was above 0.0 points for the first time in six months.

Announced on the same day, the seasonally adjusted GDP in Euro-area in July-September quarter of 2023 fell by 0.1 percent from the previous quarter.

And, the seasonally adjusted consumer price index in U.S. in October 2023 unchanged from the previous month.

10月の国内企業物価指数、インドの10月の消費者物価指数＿The producer price index for Japan in October 2023, the consumer price index for India in October 2023

11月13日に発表された10月の国内企業物価指数は119.1ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.4％下落しました。 最も寄与度が高かったのは石油・石炭製品価格の0.36％下落でした。国内企業物価指数は前月比で2カ月連続の低下となりました。

同日発表されたインドの10月の消費者物価指数は185.3ポイント（2012年＝100）となり、前年同月比4.87％上昇しました。9月の5.02％の伸びから鈍化しました。

And it's most contribution rate was 0.36 percent fell of the petroleum and coal products price. The PPI fell for two consecutive months compared with the previous month.

The consumer price index for India in October 2023, which was announced on the same day, was 185.3 points (2012=100), a rose by 4.87 percent from the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 5.02 percent growth of September 2023.

11月9日に発表された9月の経常収支は、季節調整後2兆100億円の黒字となり、前月比5,070億円増加しました。 季節調整値で見ると11カ月連続の黒字ですが、サービス収支を除いた貿易収支は26カ月連続の赤字となっています。

同日発表された中国の10月の消費者物価指数は前年同月比0.2％下落しました。 9月の0.0％から低下しました。

そして、中国の10月の工業部門の生産者物価指数は前年同月比2.6％下落しました。 9月の2.5％下落から低下しました。

The current account balance in Japan in September 2023, which was announced on November 9th 2023, was a seasonally adjusted of JPY2010 billion surplus, a rose by JPY507 billion from the previous month. From the standpoint of seasonally adjusted figures, it has been in surplus for eleven consecutive months but the trade balance excluding services balance has been in deficit for twenty six consecutive months.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index in China in October 2023 fell by 0.2 percent from the same month a year earlier. It fell from 0.0 percent of September 2023.

And, the producer price index in the industrial sector in China in October 2023 fell by 2.6 percent from the same month a year earlier. It fell from 2.5 percent fall of September 2023.

11月8日に発表された9月の景気動向一致指数は114.7ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.1ポイント上昇しました。 2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの10月の消費者物価指数は117.8ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前年同月比3.8％上昇しましたが、前月比は横ばいでした。

また、ユーロ圏の9月の小売売上高指数はカレンダー・季節調整済で111.3ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.3ポイント低下しました。 2023年5月以降、減少傾向にあります。

また、同日発表された米国の9月の月次卸売統計によると、売上高は6,781億ドルで、前月比2.2％増、在庫は9,018億ドルで、前月比0.2％増となりました。

The coincident index of business condition for Japan in September 2023, which was announced on November 8th 2023, was 114.7 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.1 points from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Germany in October 2023 was 117.8 points (2020=100), a rose by 3.8 percent from the same month a year earlier but it unchanged from the previous month.

And, the index of volume of retail trade in Euro-area in September 2023 was a calendar and seasonally adjusted of 111.3 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.3 points from the previous month. It is on the downward trend since May 2023.

And, according to the monthly wholesale trade in U.S. in September 2023, which was announced on the same day, the sales were US$678.1 billion, a rose by 2.2 percent from the previous month and the inventories were US$901.8 billion at the end of month, a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month.

11月7日に発表された最新の家計調査によると、調査対象が二人以上の世帯の場合、9月の消費支出指数は季節調整済で100.1ポイント(2020年＝100)、 前月比0.3％上昇となりました。 2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

同日発表された9月の現金給与総額は前年同月比1.2％増加しました。 この伸び率は8月の0.8％から加速しましたが、10月20日に発表された9月のインフレ率の3.0％を下回りました。

また、ドイツの9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節・カレンダー調整済で94.6ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.4％低下しました。

また、ユーロ圏の9月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は146.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.5％上昇しましたが、前年同月比では12.4％低下しました。

また、米国の9月の消費者信用残高は、季節調整済の年率で前月比 2.2% 増加しました。

According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in Japan, which was announced on November 7th 2023, in the case of survey target was two-or-more-person households, the index of family  consumption expenditures in September 2023 was a  seasonally adjusted of 100.1 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months. 

Announced on the same day, the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in Japan in September 2023 rose by 1.2 percent from the same month a year earlier. This growth rate was accelerated from 0.8 percent of August 2023, but it was less than 3.0 percent of inflation rate in September 2023 which was announced on October 20th 2023.

And, the index of industrial production in Germany in September 2023 was a seasonally and calendar adjusted of 94.6 points (2015=100), a fell by 1.4 percent from the previous month.

And, the index of industrial producer price for Euro-area in September 2023 was 146.7 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.5 percent from the previous month but it fell by 12.4 percent from the same month a year earlier. 

And, the consumer credit outstanding in U.S. in September 2023 rose by a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.2 percent from the previous month.

日銀議事要旨_The BOJ's minutes

 2023年9月21日～22日の日銀議事要旨が11月6日に公表されました。「先行きも、物価上昇の影響を受けつつも、名目雇用者所得の改善が続くもとで、行動制限下で積み上がった貯蓄にも支えられて、緩やかな増加を続けると予想される。 」としています。

内閣府の最新の消費者態度調査によれば、「個人消費マインドは改善に向けた動きが足踏み状態にある」とされています。

個人消費やマインドの推移を見守りたいと思います。

The BOJ's minutes for September 21th-22th 2023 was published on November 6th 2023.　It says "Regarding the outlook, although such consumption was expected to be affected by price rises, it was projected to continue increasing moderately with nominal employee income continuing to improve, and partly supported by household savings that had accumulated as a result of pandemic-related restrictions.".

According to the latest consumer confidence survey by cabinet office, Government of Japan, it says "The movement of personal consumption sentiment toward improvement appears at a standstill".

I think we should keep an eye on personal consumption and sentiment in Japan.

米国の10月のISM製造業PMI、FRBの金融政策決定＿The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in October 2023, the Fed's decision for their monetary policy

11月1日に発表された米国の10月のISM製造業PMIは46.7となり、前月から2.3ポイント低下しました。 サブ指数の内訳をみると、生産指数が50.4と50を上回っただけで、新規受注指数が45.5など他の指数は50を下回りました。

米国FRBは同日、政策金利の据え置きを決定し、「最近の指標は経済活動が第3四半期に強いペースで拡大したことを示唆している」とする声明を発表しました。

The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in October 2023, which was announced on November 1st 2023, was 46.7 percent, a fell by 2.3 percentage points from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it's sub index, the index of production was 50.4 percent that was above 50 percent only but other index, for example the index of new orders was 45.5 percent, were less than 50 percent.

On the same day, the Fed of U.S. decided to leaves their policy rates unchanged, and they published statement that said "Recent indicators suggest that economic activity expanded at a strong pace in the third quarter."

10月31日、日本銀行は10年債利回りの上限を1％とする長期金利の利回り抑制政策を緩和しました。しかし、短期政策金利は維持しています。

同日発表された最新の一般職業紹介状況によると、9月の有効求人倍率は季節調整値で1.29倍となり、前月と横ばいとなりました。

また、9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で103.3ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％上昇しました。 前月比では3カ月ぶりに上昇しました。

また、同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、10月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は、季節調整値で35.7ポイントとなり、前月比0.5ポイント上昇しました。 前月比では3カ月ぶりに上昇しました。

同日発表された中国の10月の製造業PMIは49.5で、前月比0.7ポイント低下しました。5カ月ぶりに下落しました。

また、米国の8月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は317.88ポイントとなり、前年同月比2.15％上昇しました。

そして、米国の10月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は102.6ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月より1.7ポイント低下しました。

On October 31th 2023, the Bank of Japan loosened their yield control policy for long term rate that is 1% cap on the 10-year bond yield. But they are keeping their short term policy rate.

According to the latest employment referrals for general workers in Japan, which was announced on the same day, the ratio of job openings to job applicants for September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted score of 1.29 times, a unchanged from the previous month. 

And, the index of industrial production in Japan in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 103.3 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for the first time in three months compared with the previous month.

And, according to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was  announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for October 2023 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted of 35.7 points, a rose by 0.5 points from the previous month. It rose for the first time in three months compared with the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the manufacturing PMI for China in October 2023 was 49.5 percent, a fell by 0.7 percentage points from the previous month. It fell for the first time in five months.

And, the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index for U.S. in August 2023 was 317.88 points, a rose by 2.15 percent from the same month a year earlier.

And the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in October 2023 was 102.6 points (1985=100), a fell by 1.7 points from the previous month.

10月30日に発表されたドイツの7～9月期のGDPは、価格・季節・暦調整済で107.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前期比0.1％低下しました。 前期比では3四半期ぶりに低下しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の10月の経済景況感指数は季節調整済で93.3ポイント（長期平均＝100）となり、前月比0.1ポイント低下しました。

10月26日に発表された9月の企業向けサービス価格指数は109.5ポイント(2015年=100)となり、前年同月比2.1％上昇しました。 寄与率の内訳を見ると、最高はその他サービス業（ホテル、機械修理・保守、労働者派遣サービス等）の0.92％、最低は金融・保険業の0.02％となりました。

同日発表された米国の9月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注額は季節調整済で前月比0.6％増の744億62百万ドルとなりました。

また、米国の9月の住宅販売保留指数は、季節調整済で72.6ポイント（2001年＝100）となり、前月比1.1％上昇しました。 前月の7.1％下落から反転上昇しました。

The services producer price index for Japan in September 2023, which was announced on October 26th 2023, was 109.5 points (2015=100), a rose by 2.1 percent from the same month a year earlier. Looking at the breakdown of it's contribution rate,  maximum value was 0.92 percent growth of other services category (for example, hotels, machinery repair and maintenance, worker dispatching services and so on) and minimum value was 0.02 percent growth of finance and insurance category.

Announced on the same day, the new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in U.S. in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of US$ 74,462 million, a rose by 0.6 percent from the previous month. 

And, the pending home sales index for U.S. in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 72.6 points (2001=100), a rose by 1.1 percent from the previous month. It rose for backward from 7.1 percent fell of the previous month.

10月25日に発表されたドイツの10月のifo企業景況感指数は季節調整済で86.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.1ポイント上昇しました。

また、政府の最新統計によると、8月の現金給与総額は前年同月比0.8％上昇しました。 そして、最近、消費者物価指数の上昇率を下回る状態が続いています。

同日発表されたドイツの9月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は147.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％下落しました。

And according to the latest statistics by government of Japan, the index of personal cash earnings before income tax deduction in Japan in August 2023 rose by 0.8 percent from the same month a year earlier.  It's growth rate continues to be in a state of below the CPI growth rate recently.

Announced on the same day, the producer price index of industrial products for Germany in September 2023 was 147.1 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month.

10月23日に発表されたユーロ圏の10月の消費者信頼感指数はマイナス17.9ポイント（長期平均＝マイナス11.6ポイント）となり、前月比0.1ポイント低下しました。

下落傾向を脱しつつあるのかどうか、推移を見守りたいと思います。

中国の9月の鉱工業生産・小売高、中国の第3四半期のGDP、ユーロ圏の9月消費者物価指数、米国の9月の住宅着工件数＿The industrial production and retail sales in China in September 2023, the GDP of China in 3rd quarter of 2023, the consumer price index by HICP for Euro-area in September 2023, the housing starts in U.S. in September 2023

10月18日に発表された中国の9月の鉱工業生産は、前年同月比4.5％増加しました。 前月の4.5％増から横ばいでした。

また、中国の9月の消費財の小売高は前年同月比5.5％増加しました。 前月の4.6％増から伸びが加速しました。

そして、中国の第3四半期のGDPは前年同期比4.9％増加した。 前四半期の6.3％の伸びから鈍化しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の9月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は前年同月比4.3％上昇しました。 前月の5.2％増から伸びが鈍化しました。

また、米国の9月の住宅着工件数は季節調整済の年率135万8千戸で、前月比7.0％増加しました。 ただし、前年同月比では7.2％減少しました。

The industrial production in China in September 2023, which was announced on October 18th 2023, rose by 4.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It unchanged from 4.5 percent growth of the previous month.

And the total retail sales of consumer goods in China in September 2023 rose by 5.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 4.6 percent growth of the previous month.

And, the GDP of China in 3rd quarter of 2023 rose by 4.9 percent from the same period of last year. It was slowed down from 6.3 percent growth of the previous quarter.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index by HICP for Euro-area in September 2023 rose by 4.3 percent from the same month a year earlier. It was slowed down from 5.2 percent growth of the previous month.

And, the housing starts in U.S. in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1358 thousands of units, a rose by 7.0 percent from the previous month. But, compared with the previous year same month, it fell by 7.2 percent.

8月の第三次産業活動指数、ドイツの10月のZEW企業景況感指数、米国の9月の小売売上高・鉱工業生産指数、The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in August 2023, the ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in October 2023, the retail and food services sales value and the index of industrial production in U.S. in September

10月17日に発表された8月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で101.8ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1％低下しました。 うち対個人サービスは前月比0.5％上昇しましたが、対事業所サービスは0.7％低下しました。

同日発表されたドイツの10月のZEW企業景況感指数はマイナス1.1ポイントとなり、前月比10.3ポイントと大きく上昇しました。

また、米国の9月の小売・外食売上高は季節調整済で7,040億米ドルとなり、前月比0.7％増加しました。

また、米国の9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で103.6ポイント（2017年＝100）となり、前月比0.3％上昇しました。

The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in August 2023, which was announced on October 17th 2023, was a seasonally adjusted of 101.8 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. Of which, the index of personal services rose by 0.5 percent but the index of business services fell by 0.7 percent compared with the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in October 2023 was minus 1.1 points, a rose significantly by 10.3 points from the previous month.

And, the retail and food services sales value  in U.S. in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of US$ 704 billion, a rose by 0.7 percent from the previous month.

And, the index of industrial production in U.S. in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 103.6 points (2017=100), a rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month.

ドイツの9月の卸売物価指数、ユーロ圏の8月の貿易収支＿The index of wholesale trade price for Germany in September 2023, the international trade balance of Euro-area in August 2023

10月16日に発表されたドイツの9月の卸売物価指数は132.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前年同月比4.1％下落したが、前月比では0.2％上昇した。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の8月の貿易収支は67億ユーロの黒字となりました。 前月に比べ、輸出は3.9％減、輸入は24.6％減となりました。

10月12日に発表された9月の国内企業物価指数は119.3ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.3％低下しました。 3カ月ぶりに低下し、最も寄与度が高かったのは石油石炭製品の0.3％低下でした。

同日発表された8月の機械受注の民需（船舶、電力を除く）は季節調整済で前月比0.5％減となり、2カ月連続で減少しました。 また、外需は前月比7.1％減となりました。

また、インドの8月の鉱工業生産指数は145.1ポイント（2011～12年＝100）となり、前年同月比10.3％上昇しました。

また、インドの9月の消費者物価指数は184.1ポイント（2011～12年＝100）となり、前年同月比5.02％上昇しました。 前月の6.83％上昇から鈍化しました。

また、米国の9月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.4％上昇し、うちエネルギー価格は1.5％上昇しました。

The producer price index in Japan in September 2023, which was announced on October 12th 2023, was 119.3 points (2020=100), a fell by 0.3 percent from the previous month. It fell for the first time in three months and it's most contribution rate was 0.3 percent fell of the petroleum and coal products price.

Announced on the same day, the machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in August 2023 decreased by a seasonally adjusted of 0.5 percent from the previous month and it fell for two consecutive months. And the orders from overseas decreased by 7.1 percent from the previous month.

And the index of industrial production in India in August 2023 was 145.1 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 10.3 percent from the same month a year earlier.

And the consumer price index in India in September 2023 was 184.1 points (2011-12=100), a rose by a rose by 5.02 percent from the same month a year earlier. It was slowed down from 6.83 percent rose of the previous month.

And the consumer price index in U.S. in September 2023 rose by 0.4 percent from the previous month, of which the index of energy price rose by 1.5 percent.

10月11日に発表されたドイツの9月の消費者物価指数は117.8ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.3％上昇しました。

同日発表されたブラジルの9月の消費者物価指数は前月比0.26％上昇しました。

また、米国の9月の卸売物価指数は前月比0.5％上昇しました。

8月の経常収支、9月の景気ウォッチャー調査＿The current account balance of Japan for August 2023, the economy watchers survey for Japan in September 2023

10月10日に発表された8月の経常収支は2兆2790億円の黒字となり、前年同月に比べ1兆6050億円増加しました。 前年同月と比較すると、輸出は2.6％減、輸入は18.2％減となりました。 輸入を製品数量別にみると、石炭が14.3％減、液化天然ガスが9.6％減、原油が1.4％減などとなりました。

また、同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、9月の現状判断DIは季節調整値で49.9となり、前月比3.7ポイント低下しました。 内訳をみると、企業動向関連（50.5）と雇用関連（51.5）は50を超えましたが、家計動向関連（49.5）は50未満でした。

The current account balance of Japan for August 2023, which was announced on October 10th 2023, was JPY 2279 billion surplus, a rose by JPY 1605 billion from the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the export fell by 2.6 percent and the import fell by 18.2 percent. Looking at the breakdown of the import by quantity of product, the coal fell by 14.3%, the liquefied natural gas fell by 9.6% and the crude oil fell by1.4% and so on.  

And according to the latest economy watchers survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the  current economic conditions in September 2023 was at a seasonally adjusted DI of 49.9 percent, a fell by 3.7 percentage points from the previous month. Lookin at the breakdown of it, the corporate activity-related index (50.5 percent) and the employment-related index (51.5 percent) exceeded 50 percent, but the household activity-related index (49.5 percent) was less than 50 percent.

10月5日に発表されたドイツの8月の貿易収支はカレンダー・季節調整済で166億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比1.2％減少しました。 また、前月と比較すると、輸出は1.2％減少し、輸入は0.4％減少しました。

同日発表されたフランスの8月の鉱工業生産指数は99.0ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.3％低下しました。内訳をみると、輸送用機械器具製造は3.5％増加しましたが、食料品・飲料製造は1.0％減少しました。

また、米国の8月の貿易収支は季節調整後で583億ドルの赤字となり、前月比9.9％減少しました。 また、前月と比較すると、輸出は1.6％増加しましたが、輸入は0.7％減少しました。

The trade balance of Germany in August 2023, which was announced on October 5th 2023, was a calendar and seasonally adjusted of €16.6 billion surplus, a fell by 1.2 percent from the previous month. And, compared with the previous month, the exports fell by 1.2 percent and the imports fell by 0.4 percent.

Announced on the same day, the industrial production index for France in August 2023 was 99.0 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.3 percent from the previous month.　Looking at the breakdown of it, the manufacturing of transport equipment rose by 3.5 percent but the manufacturing of food products and beverages fell by 1.0 percent and so on.

And the trade balance of U.S. in August 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of US$58.3 billion deficit, a fell by 9.9 percent from the previous month.  And, compared with the previous month, the exports rose by 1.6 percent but the imports fell by 0.7 percent.

10月4日に発表されたユーロ圏の8月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は145.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.6％上昇しました。 8カ月ぶりに上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は2.5％上昇しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の8月の小売取引高は季節調整済で前月比1.2％減少しました。 2カ月連続の減少になりました。

また、米国の9月のISM非製造業PMIは53.6となり、前月比0.9ポイント低下しました。

9月のマネタリーベース_The monetary base in Japan in September 2023

10月3日に発表された9月のマネタリーベースは前年同月比5.6％上昇し、前月の1.2％上昇から加速しました。 そして内訳を見ると、貨幣流通高は前年同月比で2.5％減少となり、2022年12月の4.2％減少以来、ゆっくりではあるが確実に増加しています。

The monetary base in Japan in September 2023, which was announced on October 3rd 2023, rose by 5.6 percent from the same month a year earlier and it accelerated from 1.2 percent rose of the previous month. And looking at the breakdown of it, the coins in circulation fell by 2.5 percent from the same month a year earlier and it is increasing slowly but surely since 4.2 percent fall of December 2022.

9月の日銀短観、米国の9月のISM製造業PMI＿The BOJ's Tankan for September 2023, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in September 2023

10月2日に発表された9月の日銀短観によると、依然として円安が進行しているものの、大企業製造業の業況判断指数は前回調査より改善しました。

同日発表された米国の9月のISM製造業PMIは49.0で、前月比1.4ポイント上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、雇用の指数は改善しましたが、物価の指数は悪化しました。

According to the BOJ's Tankan for September 2023, which was announced on October 2nd 2023, although the Japanese currency is still getting weaker, the sentiment index for current business climate for manufacturing large enterprises got better than the previous survey. 

Announced on the same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in September 2023 was 49.0 percent, a rose by 1.4 percentage points from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of employment got better, but the index of prices got worse.

同日発表されたドイツの9月の消費者物価指数は前年同月比4.5％上昇しました。 前月の6.1％上昇から大きく鈍化しました。

また、米国の8月の住宅販売保留指数は季節調整済で71.8ポイントとなり、前月比7.1％低下しました。

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Germany in September 2023 rose by 4.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It was slowed down significantly from 6.1 percent rose of the previous month.

And, the pending home sales index for U.S. in August 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 71.8 points, a fell by 7.1 percent from the previous month.

9月27日に発表された米国の8月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注は季節調整済で739億ドルとなり、前月比0.9％増加しました。 3カ月ぶりに増加しました。

9月26日に発表された8月の企業向けサービス価格指数は109.3ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前年同月比2.1％上昇しました。最も寄与率が高かったのはその他のサービス部門 (ホテル、機械の修理とメンテナンス、ランドリー サービスなど)の0.93％の上昇でした。

同日発表された米国の7月のS＆P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は316.68ポイントとなり、前年同月比0.13％上昇しました。

そして、米国の9月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は103.0ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比5.7ポイント低下しました。

It's most contribution rate was 0.93 percent rose of other services category (for example, hotels, machinery repair and maintenance, laundry services and so on). 

Announced on the same day, the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index for U.S. in July 2023 was 316.68 points, a rose by 0.13 percent from the same month a year earlier.

And, the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in September 2023 was 103.0 points (1985=100), a fell by 5.7 points from the previous month.

ドイツの9月のifo景況感指数_The ifo business climate index for Germany in September 2023

9月25日に発表されたドイツの9月のifo景況感指数は、季節調整済で85.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1ポイント低下しました。

この水準は反発して上昇するか、横ばいで下落するかの境界線のような気がします。
