8月17日に発表された7月の貿易収支（速報値）は、1436億円の赤字でした。 前年同月比で、輸出は19.0％、輸入は47.2％増加しました。
同日発表の6月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く。季節調整済）は前月比0.9％増加しました。 また、外需は前月比4.6％減少しました。
また、ユーロ圏の4～6月期のGDP(季節調整済) は、前四半期から0.6%増加しました。
また、米国の7月の小売売上高 (外食を含む。速報値、季節調整済) は、前月比横ばいでした。

The trade balance of Japan in July 2022 (preliminary figures), which was announced on August 17th 2022, was JPY 1436 billion deficit. Compared with same month of previous year, the export rose by 19.0 percent and the import rose by 47.2 percent.
Announced on the same day, the machinery orders from domestic private-sector of Japan in June 2022 (excluding orders from ships and electric power companies. seasonally adjusted) rose by 0.9 percent from the previous month. And, the machinery orders from overseas fell by 4.6 percent from the previous month.
And the GDP of euro-area in April-June quarter of 2022 (seasonally adjusted) rose by 0.6 percent from the previous quarter.
And, the retail sales in US in July 2022 (including food services. preliminary figures, seasonally adjusted) was flat from the previous month.
