3月16日に公表された2月の貿易収支は6,683億円の赤字でした。 輸出は19.1％増加（前年比）、輸入は34.0％増加（前年比）し、輸入額は輸出額を上回りました。
同日公表された米国の2月の小売売上高（外食を含む。季節調整済、速報値）は前月から0.3％増加しました。
そして、米国FOMCは、政策金利を0.25％引き上げることを決定しました。

The trade balance of Japan in February 2022, which was announced on March 16th 2022, was JPY 668.3 billion in the red. The export rose by 19.1 percent (YoY), but the import rose by 34.0 percent (YoY) and import's value was above the export value.
Announced on the same day, the retail sales value in US in February 2022 (including food services. seasonally adjusted, preliminary figures) rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month.
And, the FOMC of US decided to raise policy rate for 0.25 percent.
