12月21日に公表されたユーロ圏の12月の消費者信頼指数はマイナス8.3ポイント、前月から1.5ポイント下落しました。長期平均を上回っていましたが、パンデミック前のレベル、たとえば2019年の平均を下回っていました。
同日に発表された米国の7月-9月四半期の経常赤字は2,148億米ドル、前四半期から165億米ドル増加しました。

The consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in December 2021, which was announced on December 21th 2021, was minus 8.3 points, a fell by 1.5 points from the previous month. It was above the long term average but it was below its pre-pandemic level for example its average in 2019.
Announced on the same day, the current account deficit for US in July-September quarter of 2021 was US$214.8 billion, a rose by US$16.5 billion from the previous quarter.
