10月29日、公表された9月の商業動態統計速報によれば、9月の小売業販売額は前年比プラス2.1％となりました。
内訳をみると、例えば、次の通りでした。
燃料小売りが前年比プラス13.0％
機械器具小売業が前年比プラス4.9％
各種商品小売業(百貨店など)が前年比マイナス1.3％
無店舗小売り業が前年比マイナス1.2％

米国のFRB地区連銀経済報告_The beige book of FRB in the US
10月24日、公表された米国のFRB地区連銀経済報告は、米国経済は緩やかな拡大が継続し、物価は緩やかに上昇していると、報告しました。
今回の報告から、FRBは、金融政策は従来通りの方針を続ける考えとの印象を受けました。
The beige book of FRB in the US, which was announced on October 24, reported that economic activity in the US is modest to moderate growth , and prices in the US continued to rise, growing at a modest to moderate pace.
Based on this report, I received the impression that FRB's monetary policy is to continue the conventional policy.
今回の報告から、FRBは、金融政策は従来通りの方針を続ける考えとの印象を受けました。

10月18日、公表された貿易統計によれば、9月の貿易収支(季節調整済)は1396億円、前年同月比マイナス78.7％でした。
輸出は前年同月比マイナス1.2％、輸入は前年同月比プラス7.0％でした。

なお、消費者物価指数（エネルギー、生鮮食品を除く総合）は年率1.1％、前月と同じでした。

10月1日、公表された日銀短観によれば、大企業製造業の業況判断DIは19ポイント、前回調査と比べマイナス2ポイントとなりました（悪化）。
According to the Bank of Japan's Tankan, which was announced on October 1, the business condition judgment DI(the large enterprise manufacturing industry) was 19 points, a decrease of 2 points compared with the previous survey (worsening).
10月1日、公表された米国の9月のISM製造業景気指数は、前月比マイナス1.5ポイントとなりました（悪化）。
On October 1,the US ISM manufacturing index in September of the year was 59.8, a decrease of 1.5 points compared with the previous month(worsening).
According to the Bank of Japan's Tankan, which was announced on October 1, the business condition judgment DI(the large enterprise manufacturing industry) was 19 points, a decrease of 2 points compared with the previous survey (worsening).
