米国の10月-12月四半期の実質GDP＿The real GDP for US in October-December quarter of 2021

2月24日に公表された米国の10月-12月四半期の実質GDP（改訂値。季節調整済年率換算）は、前四半期から7.0％増加しました。

The real GDP for US in October-December quarter of 2021 (second estimate. seasonally adjusted at annual rates), which was announced on February 24th 2022, rose by 7.0 percent from the previous quarter.

ロシア・ウクライナ問題_The Russia-Ukraine tension

ロシア・ウクライナ問題は、深刻な局面にあります。早期の解決を望みます。

以下は全て、当方の推定です。

□ウクライナ問題

1991年、ウクライナは、国の独立を宣言。同年、ソビエト連邦は、この独立を承認しました。

最近、ロシアのプーチン大統領は、「ウクライナは古くからのロシアの土地」と表明、ウクライナへ侵攻の動きにあります。

□ロシアのウクライナ侵攻のきっかけ（推定）

ロシアは、原油･天然ガスなどを輸出する「資源大国」です。

ヨーロッパは、ロシアから多くの資源を輸入しています。

ヨーロッパは、環境対策を進行中です。将来的に輸入する資源は減少していく見通しです。ロシアの原油は衰退産業と言えます。

□ロシアにとってのウクライナの魅力（推定）

ウクライナは、チタン、ウラン、マンガンなどの鉱物資源を有しています。

これらは、環境対策の推進にとって重要な資源です。成長期待の事業と言えます。

ロシアにとって、ウクライナの鉱物資源は、喉から手が出るほど欲しい資源と言えます。

□ロシアのウクライナ侵攻の背景（推定）

ロシアは、衰退見通しにある原油などへの依存が高く、先行きの経済成長は不透明です。

ロシアは、成長期待の産業を有するウクライナをロシアに取り込みたいと考えたと推定します。

これは、「企業のM&A戦略と似た発想」と推定します。

□M&Aにたとえた現状（推定）

ロシアは、ウクライナの「買収を宣言」したのと似た状態です。

ウクライナは、ロシアによる「買収拒否を表明」したと似た状態です。

I think, the Russia-Ukraine tension is in a serious situation. I hope for an early solution. The following are all our estimates.

□ Ukraine problem

In 1991, Ukraine declared the independence of the country. That same year, the Soviet Union approved this independence.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that "Ukraine is an ancient Russian land" and is invading Ukraine.

□ Trigger for Russia's invasion of Ukraine (estimated)

Russia is a "resource-rich country" that exports crude oil and natural gas and so on.

Europe imports much energy resources from Russia.

Europe is in the process of environmental measures. The energy resources that generate carbon dioxide to be imported are expected to decrease in the future. For  example, perhaps, Russia's crude oil is a declining industry in the future.

□ Ukraine's charm for Russia (estimated)

Ukraine has mineral resources such as titanium, uranium and manganese.

These are important resources for promoting environmental measures. It can be said that it is a business with growth expectations.

For Russia, perhaps, Ukraine's mineral resources are a resource that really, really want it!

□ Background of Russia's invasion of Ukraine (estimated)

Russia is highly dependent on crude oil, which is expected to decline in the future, and its future economic growth is uncertain.

It is estimated that Russia wanted to integrating Ukraine, which has a growth-promising industry, into Russia.

This is presumed to be "an idea similar to a corporate M & A strategy."

□ Current status (estimated) compared to M & A

Russia is in a state similar to Ukraine's "declaration of acquisition".

Ukraine is in a state similar to Russia's "statement of refusal to buy."

2月23日に発表されたユーロ圏の1月の消費者物価指数（HICP）は、前年比5.1％上昇しました。内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は28.8％上昇（前年比）しました。

2月22日に発表された1月の企業向けサービス価格指数（2015年=100）は105.5ポイント、前月から0.5％低下しました。

また、ドイツの2月のifo企業景況感指数（2015年=100。季節調整済）は98.9ポイント、前月から2.9ポイント上昇しました。

また、米国の12月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数(原数値)は285.63ポイント、前年比18.56％上昇しました。

また、米国の2月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数（1985年=100）は110.5ポイント、前月から0.6ポイント低下しました。

The consumer price index for Euro-area in January 2022 (HICP), which was announced on February 23th 2022, rose by 5.1 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 28.8 percent (YoY).

Announced on February 22th 2022, the services producer price index for Japan in January 2022 (2015=100) was 105.5 points, a fell by 0.5 percent from the previous month. 

And the ifo business climate index for Germany in February 2022 (2015=100. seasonally adjusted) was 98.9 points, a rose by 2.9 points from the previous month.

And the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index for US in December 2021 (not seasonally adjusted) was 285.63 points, a rose by 18.56 percent from the previous year same month.

And the Conference Board consumer confidence index for US in February 2022 (1985=100) was 110.5 points, a fell by 0.6 points from the previous month.

ドイツの1月の工業製品の生産者物価指数_The producer price index of industrial products for Germany in January 2022

2月21日に公表されたドイツの1月の工業製品の生産者物価指数（2015年=100、調査対象：国内市場）は132.8ポイント、前月から2.2％上昇しました。 前月の5.0％から低下しました。

12月の機械受注、米国の1月の住宅着工戸数＿The machinery orders from domestic private-sector of Japan in December 2021, the housing starts for US in January 2022

2月17日に公表された12月の機械受注の民需（船舶および電力を除く。季節調整済）は、前月から3.6％増加しました。 3カ月連続の増加でした。 しかし、外需は3.5％減少（前月比）しました。

同日発表された米国の1月の住宅着工戸数（季節調整済、年率換算）は1,638千戸、前月比4.1％減少しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector of Japan in December 2021 (excluding orders from ships and electric power companies. seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 17th 2022, rose by 3.6 percent from the previous month. It increased for the 3rd month running.  But, the orders from overseas fell by 3.5 percent (MoM). 

Announced on the same day, the housing starts for US in January 2022 (seasonally adjusted annual rate) was 1,638 thousands of units, a fell by 4.1 percent from the previous month.

12月の第三次産業活動指数、中国の1月の消費者物価指数・生産者物価指数、ユーロ圏の2021年12月の鉱工業生産、米国の1月の小売売上高・鉱工業生産＿The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan in December 2021 , the CPI & PPI for China in January 2022, the industrial production for Euro-area in December 2021, the retail sales value & the index of industrial production for US in January 2022

2月16日に公表された12月の第三次産業活動指数（2015年=100、季節調整済）は98.9ポイント、前月比0.4％上昇しました。内訳を見ると、対個人サービスは98.7ポイント、0.4％上昇（前月比）、対事業所サービスは98.7ポイント、0.2％上昇（前月比）しました。

同日発表された中国の1月の消費者物価指数は、前年同月比0.9％上昇しました。前月の1.5％から減速しました。

また、中国の1月の産業部門の生産者物価指数は前年同月比9.1％上昇しました。前月の10.3％から減速しました。

また、ユーロ圏の2021年12月の鉱工業生産（季節調整済）は前月から1.2％増加しました。内訳を見ると、エネルギーは0.8％低下（前月比）しました。

また、米国の1月の小売売上高（外食を含む。季節調整済）は、前月から3.75％増加しました。

また、米国の1月の鉱工業生産指数（2017年=100、季節調整済）は103.5ポイント、前月から1.4％上昇しました。

The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan in December 2021 (2015=100, seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 16th 2022,  was 98.9 points, a rose by 0.4 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown, the individual service industry was 98.7 points, a rose by 0.4 percent (MoM), and the business services industry was 98.7 points, a rose by 0.2 percent (MoM).

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for China in January 2022 rose by 0.9 percent from the previous year same month. It slowed down from 1.5 percent for previous month.  

And the producer price index for the industrial sector for China in January 2022 rose by 9.1 percent from the previous year same month. It slowed down from 10.3 percent for previous month.  

And the industrial production for Euro-area in December 2021 (seasonally adjusted) rose by 1.2 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy fell by 0.8 percent (MoM).

And the retail sales value in US in January 2022 (including food services, seasonally adjusted) rose by 3.75 percent from the previous month.

And the index of industrial production for US in January 2022 (2017=100, seasonally adjusted) was 103.5 points, a rose by 1.4 percent from the previous month.

10月-12月四半期のGDP、ドイツの2月のZEW企業景況感指数、米国の1月の卸売物価指数＿The GDP for Japan in Oct.-Dec. quarter of 2021, the ZEW Indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in Feb. 2022, the PPI for US in Jan. 2022

2月15日に公表された10月-12月四半期（季節調整済）の実質GDPは、前四半期から1.32パーセント増加しました。

同日発表されたドイツの2月のZEW企業景況感指数は54.3、前月から2.6ポイント上昇しました。

また、米国の1月の卸売物価指数（最終需要合計）は前月比1.0％上昇しました。 前月の0.4％から加速しました。

The real GDP for Japan in October-December quarter of 2021 (seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 15th 2022, rose by 1.32 percent from the previous quarter. 

Announced on the same day, the ZEW Indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in February 2022 was 54.3 points, a rose by 2.6 points from the previous month.

And, the producer price index for US in January 2022 (total final demand) rose by 1.0 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from the previous month from 0.4 percent.

インドの1月の消費者物価指数＿The CPI for India in January 2022

2月14日に公表されたインドの1月の消費者物価指数（速報値）は、前年比6.01％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、食用油脂は18.70％上昇（前年比）上昇し、光熱費は9.32％上昇（前年比）しました。

Looking at the breakdown of it, the cooking oils and fats price index rose by 18.70 percent (YoY) and the fuel and light price index rose by 9.32 percent (YoY).

2月9日、公表された1月のマネーストック（M2、平残）は、前年比3.6％増加しました。

同日発表されたブラジルの1月の消費者物価指数（IPCA）は、前年比10.38％上昇しました。

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Brazil in January 2022 (IPCA) rose by 10.38 percent from the previous year same month.

1月の景気ウォッチャー調査＿The economy watchers survey of Japan in January 2022

2月8日に公表された1月の景気ウォッチャー調査によれば、1月の現状判断DI（季節調整済）は37.9、前月からマイナス19.6ポイントと大幅に低下しました。 現状判断DIは、3カ月ぶりに50を下回りました。

また、1月の先行き判断DI（同上）は42.5、前月から7.8ポイント低下しました。 先行き判断DIは、4カ月ぶりに50を下回りました。

これらの低下の主な要因は、COVID19による感染者の全国的な急増だったと思います。

According to the economy watchers survey of Japan in January 2022, which was announced on February 8th 2022, the DI for current economic conditions in January 2022 (seasonally adjusted) was 37.9 percent, a fell by 19.6 percentage points from the previous month, significantly. The DI for current economic conditions was below 50 percent for the first time in 3 months.

And the DI for future economic conditions in January 2022 (same as above) was 42.5 percent, a fell by 7.8 percentage points from the previous month. The DI for future economic conditions was below 50 percent for the first time in 4 months.

I think, the main factors of these decrease was the national rapid increase in infected people for COVID 19.

12月の景気一致指数、ドイツの12月の鉱工業生産、米国の12月の消費者信用残高＿The coincident index of business condition for Japan in December 2021, the industrial production for Germany in December 2021, the consumer credit outstanding for US in December 2021

2月7日、公表された12月の景気一致指数（2015年＝100、速報値）は92.6、前月比0.2ポイント低下しました。3カ月ぶりの低下でした。

同日発表されたドイツの12月の鉱工業生産（価格、季節およびカレンダー調整済、速報値）は前月から0.3％減少しました。

また、米国の12月の消費者信用残高（季節調整済、年率、速報値）は5.1％増加しました。

The coincident index of business condition for Japan in December 2021 (2015=100, preliminary figures), which was announced on February 7th 2022, was 92.6 points, a fell by 0.2 points from the previous month. It was for the first time in 3 months of decrease.

Announced on the same day, the industrial production for Germany in December 2021 (price, seasonally and calendar adjusted, preliminary figure) fell by 0.3 percent from the previous month.

And, the consumer credit outstanding for US in December 2021 (seasonally adjusted, annual rate, preliminary figure) rose by 5.1 percent.

同日、ECB総裁は、ユーロ圏のインフレには上振れリスクがあるとの趣旨の発言をしました。 私は、この発言は、年内に政策金利が上がる可能性が高いことを示唆していると思います。

同日発表された米国の1月のISM非製造業PMIは59.9、前月から2.4ポイント低下しました。

The industrial producer price index for Euro-area in December 2021 (on the domestic market, not seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 3rd 2022, rose by 2.9 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 7.0 percent (MoM).

On the same day, the ECB President spoke to the effect that euro-area inflation has upside risk. I think it implied that a high probability of raise policy rates in this year.

Announced on the same day, the ISM services PMI for US in January 2022 was 59.9 percent, a fell by 2.4 percentage points from the previous month.

1月のマネタリーベース、ユーロ圏の1月の消費者物価指数＿The monetary base for Japan in January 2022, the CPI for Euro-area in January 2022

2月2日に公表された1月のマネタリーベース（平残）は、前年同月比8.4％増加しました。 しかし、貨幣流通高は0.1％増加でした（前年比）。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の1月の消費者物価指数（HICP、速報値）は、前年同月比5.1％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は28.6％上昇（前年比）でした。

The monetary base for Japan in January 2022 (average amounts outstanding), which was announced on February 2nd 2022, rose by 8.4 percent from the previous year same month. But, the coins in circulation rose by 0.1 percent (YoY).

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Euro-area in January 2022 (by HICP, preliminary figures) rose by 5.1 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 28.6 percent (YoY).

12月の有効求人倍率、フランスの1月の消費者物価指数、米国の1月のISM製造業景気指数＿The ratio of job openings to job applicants for Japan in December 2021, the CPI for France in January 2022, the ISM manufacturing PMI for US in January 2022

2月1日に公表された12月の有効求人倍率（季節調整済）は1.16倍、前月比0.01ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表されたフランスの1月の消費者物価指数（速報値）は、前年同月比2.9％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は19.7％上昇（前年比）しました。

また、米国の1月のISM製造業景気指数（季節調整済）は57.6、前月から1.2ポイント低下しました。

The ratio of job openings to job applicants for Japan in December 2021 (seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 1st 2022, was 1.16 times, a rose by 0.01 points from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for France in January 2022 (preliminary figures) rose by 2.9 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 19.7 percent (YoY). 

And, the ISM manufacturing PMI for US in January 2022 (seasonally adjusted) was 57.6 percent, a fell by 1.2 percentage points from the previous month.

12月の鉱工業生産、ドイツの1月の消費者物価指数＿The index of industrial production for Japan in December 2021, the CPI for Germany in January 2022

1月31日に公表された12月の鉱工業生産指数（2015年＝100、季節調整済、速報値）は96.5、前月比1.0％下落しました。

同日発表されたドイツの1月の消費者物価指数(速報値)は、前年同月比4.9％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は20.5％上昇（前年比）しました。

The index of industrial production for Japan in December 2021 (2015=100, seasonally adjusted, preliminary figures), which was announced on January 31th 2022, was 96.5 points, a fell by 1.0 percent from the previous month.

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for Germany in January 2022 (preliminary figures) rose by 4.9 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 20.5 percent (YoY).
